February must be retro month on the Hallmark networks. This mystery movie and the Loveuary with Jane Austen movies have a 19th/early 20th century feel to them.
There ain't no party like a new Hallmark murder mystery, woot woot!
I like that hallmark is trying new things. But I miss the older mystery shows, especially Martha Vinyards and mystery 101. They left them unresolved.
From the website it seems that it will air on 2 February.
This is a pretty good movie!
Another new mystery wonder what's going on with the old ones because there are no updates as to what's going on and I still don't understand why you cancelled mystery 101. You keep putting out new mysteries every year with no continuity of the previous movies and at this point I think I will just stick to watching your normal movies because I am tired of getting attached to characters and we don't get to see where their story ends. What happened to crossword mysteries, redemption in cherry springs, chronicle mysteries, ruby herring mysteries, to catch a spy. The way you write your movies and how they play out on the screen makes me expect a continuity it would not be a problem if you wrote the movie in a way that I won't end up expecting a continuity.
It was cancelled because the actress Jill Wagner left the Hallmark channel for Great American Family network.
@@cococalimero85 hallmark is just petty because it's not like Jill could not work with them anymore because there are actors who work with both hallmark and lifetime and also Cameron Mathison still works with hallmark but also works with GAC so I don't understand

@@veasnaphan4858 but she does work for GAC and she signed a contract with them and also why are chastising me because if you read my comment you would understand that I don't care if she left or didn't leave she can still work with the channel unless the channel themselves didn't want to work with her like in the case of Danica she still wanted to do the mysteries but hallmark didn't my point is I don't understand why they cancelled it because Jill and Kris were more than willing to come back so if she left or didn't leave does not matter
They’ve cancelled almost all of them. The only one I think they’re keeping around is Aurora Teagarden, for the reboot. No idea why. Wish they hadn’t. 💔
I really enjoyed this movie, despite some weaknesses. I bet everyone who’s moaning still watched it to the end!

A lot of the actors that played in these mystery movies have gone over to Great American Family.
I really liked the idea of a Vanderbilt mystery movie but the historical accuracy is so horrible it's hard to watch.
A lot of the script was stilted. Most of the acting made me think of a high school production. Costumes were poorly fitted and the ladies hats looked like some one sat on them or had huge silly feathers or poorly chosen flowers. All of the errors were so distracting it detracted from the movie.
This movie is crap and so is the script.reading the book and excited for the movie for it to be a huge disappointment. And I'm still trying to figure out when any investigating actually happened. I'll suggest skipping this altogether. 0:02

The hair is way too loose... and I'm not even sure what is going on with that bodice fit.. :/ Of course it's not a documentary but I'd love if studios dared to use hair and makeup that fits the era, regardless of what counts as pretty now
This is absolutely the worst movie I've seen in years. Everything about it was terrible. The acting, the costumes, the set designs, the story line. Above all, the political correctness throughout the entire movie made me want to retch! Shame on Hallmark Movie Mysteries for adding this to their wonderful mystery series.
Won't watch it. Too woke and cliché and amateur for my liking.
I don’t like the idea that you start something and have us interested, maybe I will just go to American family at least you know what they have. You have great actress but who runs the place is terrible!!!!
This one was REALLY BAD. Which is sad, because this is the exact type of movie I would love. Most of the characters are boring and uncharismatic. The two main characters had absolutely no chemistry, and overall, just a boring movie.
