PFM = Professional Flight Model. It's just an update to the MiG-29 to bring it up to standards with the flight models of the other aircraft. PFM is not a variant of the MiG-29.
Hello Buddy I im Your real fan. I really like The way how You are making those movies. Any way I need to ask for help or explanation. Up for today i was using stock FC3 mig 29. Today i decide to buy This one with upgraded or corrected FM. And i see that You have here nice light only for gauges. How did You engaged those? Default L button? Im asking as i cannot see any difference with New mig29 model and I start to worry that it was not installed correctly. Im using 2.5.4 open beta. I will be very happy to see any reply from Your side. 2:51 I read that the Mig-29's soft AOA limiters were controlled by stick forces. And since most HOTAS are not like actual sticks it looks easy to go right past it. An interesting observation. And boy does it look like it flies different compared to before and it certainly looks more hands on compared to its fly by wire Flanker cousin. And in 1080p full screen this was is glorious to watch, super pretty like actual photo and video pretty. But god dammit man, one stick should be cause to RTB for fuel and sticks. Got yourself killed again. Good kills though, I have been waiting for a Fulcrum video ever since the PFM came out.
You know I can't resist being a fool :) But yeah, different kettle of fish now in terms of handling. And DCS has come along way in terms of looks :) Although I'm finding it harder to spot specks these days, wonder if they've tweaked something
IMO it is easy than the Flanker because it has a better thrust to weight, you can throttle out of a bad situation, whereas the Flanker is heavy. Fulcrum is more nimble ( in stupid aerobatics and gunfights anyway)
Guess this last high launch was basically a death sentence. Should be hard to get a lock on you through ground clutter but once he had one, there were only very limited chances of avoiding.
Hey, thanks for this! I have never tried DSC, mostly because I don't have time needed to learn the startup etc to fly these machines. Waiting for Modern Air combat to come out. The trailer stated that this model have mouse and keyboard support, do you have any experience with mouse and keyboard? Thanks!
Years and years ago I played LOMAC (before DCS was DCS) with keyboard and mouse Sorta works, there's a lot of key combos to remember. Also low accuracy on the arrow keys. But do-able
The MiG-29 can be bought seperately, or as part of the Flaming Cliffs 3 (FC3) bundle. The bundle will work out cheaper in the long run (also gives you a-10a/su27/su33/F-15c)

I have that joystick! Cheap and cheerful. Do you have curves for the Mig 29 axis? Can you plz share them if you do? Thx
Yea cause PULL UP! PULL UP! PULL UP! isnt obnoxious 😂 all warning sounds and voices in any pla’’e is annoying. But i hate the shrieking ones the most when you have a misile on you

new flight model is applied automatically with the update. It applies to all models of the mig 29 currently in game.

yea i find the pitch seems to crazily jump to the skies. very pitch sensitive even though my axis and mapping is fine.

Turn off Dampeners by holding "Alt + 9" for about 3 Seconds.

@@davefloyd9443 actually I haven’t flown the MiG-29 much, I like the Su-27 more. But when I flew it I used the default curves.

you can get all FC3 planes separately, but it's a far better deal to get FC3 as a whole instead... just my 2 cents

It changes the HUD indicator/text to Friend and back
Dont Fly low and slow, instead Angels 40 to 50, and stay above Mach 1, That's how youre supposed to play the Mig29S, with R77s and stuff.
