Thanks for putting my song on you tube Edward, I wrote the song about 15 years ago, it's made a lot money and every penny has gone to Help our Para's and the PRA. thanks again
I served in the 82nd Airborne Division for 12 years, and I became an Aldershot Paratrooper over Fox Covert DZ in 93. I'm very proud of it. We stayed at Thorney Island. The good folks In Emsworth treated us like family. The soldiers at 10 Battery treated us like brothers. We stayed there a month. At the end of that month every lad there was dipping Copenhagen. What a grand time we had. It rained the day we got there, and they day we left. Sun the rest of the time. England felt like home to me immediately.
I’m sat with John again right now, we sat chatting about his song and his other song called Hero’s, We are just about to have another roast dinner. John expresses his thank’s for everyone’s kind and positive comment’s.
Listening to this song excites me even more to join the parachute regiment 🇬🇧 waiting for a date for PRAC but gutted as wont be till early next year due to covid-19 😤
Been there, done that....my airborne brothers forever....! My cousin Ronnie Balneaves of the airborne platoon of the Gordon Highlanders jumped into Suez....!

My father was in the Pathfinders was proud of his beret and wings. I used to sit and listen to his tales of his time in the Para`s.
