Personally, I think if should be all one color , the bright orange/red is distracting when wearing it. For the price, it is kinda cool . But with its limitations, mounting to a camera is a pain.
You can always record the audio in the micro SD, and sync later on any editing software. It's an option
You got that right. I took a black Sharpie and canceled out the Halloween color scheme. I even blacked out the silver mic screen. Now to go do something about my white Insta 360 Go 3.

I have a Fulaim X5 which I love. From reviews it maybe that the Hohem audio is better, but I've not seen a side by side comparison.
For iPhone 15 Pro Max users, does the USB-C model include the Apple MFI chip for full Apple iOS support?
Thank you, Luke. I didn't know something like that existed. What few videos I record, are original songs. Triggering the camera is a pain, as is syncing / replacing the audio from phone with my Zoom H2 audio in post. Do you think the audio quality of the Hohem mic is accurate enough to be musical? If using 2 of them, does one record L audio and the other R audio in a stereo track?

1) will this work for something like zoom or phone calls? Where you can still hear the other person talk on speaker during call.
2) can you use a Bluetooth speaker or earbuds at the same time while using these microphones?
Hi,so you can't really use this with a Action camera without cables stick out out from it all over the place or would it have enough power to do the job without the cables. I don't vlog or anything like that,just holiday and general videos.👍

How does it work? Shooting an interview: two mics on the guests, two seprate streams? Or one combined? Could you elaborate onthe workflow please?
The ones I've used in the past use the left and right channel. It would be cool if they had two separate but it won't affect quality either way, it's easy to separate in post, and you don't need stereo for vocals.

Tbh, the sound was rather squeaky to myears. Marcus Pix shows several recorders quality native and after audio post. How much audio post is in here?
I just received mine today. How do I find my audio recordings when I use it as a standalone mic. Everything else seems to work great and is easy to use.
You need to insert a microSD card into the mic. The audio recording will record directly onto the SD card so when you’re done plug the SD card into your computer and open the file

You can directly record onto your iPad or your phone the same as you would if you were recording a video but instead just open up an audio recorder app or a video editing app and select voiceover your iPad or phone should default to this being the input audio
