This sort of mic is very interesting if you use an iPhone on a gimbal, as the receiver is very light (I can’t really use my Rode Wireless Go with my DJI OM6 as the wire is too heavy.)
Yeah, I also feel that smartphone users and people who seek lightweight setup will be quite happy with it.
Do you know if the microphones (TX's) are able to connect directly to an Insta360 X3? The DJI mic 2 can, but they're expensive.
Not possible with these... Or at least it didn't work in my case.
What is the difference between this and the Dji Mic 2 beside the huge price difference?
The quality of transmission, the audio quality, the features...
I think those sound pretty well, and for me I see only 1 downside which makes them useless for my need.
First of all fitting the "deadcat" inside the case, I've seen that complain for every wireless mic system out there so far, the lack of an app is fine for me I think though.
Bu the real problem is that I can't connect that system to a normal DSLR/Mirrorless camera like many others.
I actually just started to use the Ulanzi AM18 mic system, surprisingly works really well! and I got it as a secondary one since it had a huge price cut on black Friday on AliExpress, The real Mic system I'm planning to use has just arrived so stay tuned I guess ;-)
But I have to say, your audio work process is amazing and seems really hard for me, but the results speak for themselves!
I hear about AM18 for the first time and now it is really interesting to see how they sound ❤️ And am even more curious about the main solution that you mention. Hope to see a review about it 😊😊
You can use it with a larger camera- If you use a power pack, or your gimbal has a USB power out.
@@TechMishka Those videos will come later, honestly I'm very impressed with the Ulanzi AM18 compared to it's price, it lacks few things compared to the more expensive ones out there, but it doesn't stay far behind, infact for its price I think it packs a lot!

I bought one of these units and it stopped working after about a month and a half of use. I've been working with the manufacturer on and off for the last 3 weeks trying to get it exchanged.
Oh, this is annoying, sorry to hear about this experience. Did all units stop working?
What would happen was if you moved away from the receiver the transmitting microphone would unpare. This happened with both microphones so I suspect it was the receiver unit. It took about 2 weeks of back and forth with their tech department to prove to them that I wasn't doing something stupid.

It is the whole video. The voiceover may sound a little better because I am closer to the microphone.
Easy to use: there's a vast number of wireless lavs in the $100 to $200 range that are also very easy to use. The Hohem is NOT unique. Maybe you haven't tried any others???
