Now that TOTK is done, I agree with you There isn't really a powerful theme in this game, the story is good but... it doesn't really resonate with me The most emotional part of the story is Zelda turning into the dragon, and it's emotional but I can't say I can relate this to my life
great video! very well put. i love when videogames tackle complex topics as well. personally my favorite thing in botw was the worldbuilding, and i found it a bit unfillfilling in the sense that it leaves a lot of things clouded in mistery (although thats what makes them good too). hope you get more subscribers!
This video is fantastic. The heart & polish you put into it was really felt. That emotional investment you're talking about is so crucial to my relationship with Zelda games -- and even though I felt a stronger connection BotW's story than you did, I totally agree its execution wasn't perfect. I hope Nintendo takes your advice for the sequel!
