There was a mother who found that video and thought it was her missing daughter tied up in the video. She was absolutely convinced, and they did look the same. It obviously wasn't the missing daughter but I can imagine the anguish that mother felt thinking she found a video of her missing daughter tied up with a psycho.

I was just about to comment about this. Yeah that is just nuts and heart breaking to think of the hope and terror the mom was feeling that she finally found her daughter but only to find out that no it wasn't her daughter. The video was just something done for fun and those people who did the video knew nothing about this mom's daughter going missing. I'm not even sure if anyone found out what happened to the girl.

I LOVE dhmis. I first watched it when I was relatively young through the ‘children react’ show. I was so scared that I had nightmares for months, maybe even a whole year. I recently came back to it when I was bored and I fell in love with how weird it was. ive now watched all of the yt videos and all the episodes on tv. the creators are honestly so cool as well.

The puppet from around 21:02 is a puppet called Rat’afa platćhta ( I think that’s how you spell it ) from slineco ( also probably spelled wrong ). It’s a childrens show character and he was often seen hanging around children. I don’t know much of it since I never grew up on it, but I remember seeing him on a disturbing childrens show character list
Yeah, right. I will only add some details. It's character from Czechoslovak children show
Slniečko and his name is Raťafák Plachta - because of his big nose, which is in slovak "raťafák" and "plachta" because of that "cape". He was pretty popular among the people in 80's and 90's, especially among the children of course. Now he's exhibited in castle of Modrý Kameň, in the only museum of puppets in Europe.

Just to tell you a small story about the video from 21:25, the sped up doll that appears in the video is that of a character from an old Czechoslovakian cartoon named "Slneicko". the characters name is Ratafak Plachta. And the "Angel" video was made with a stolen version of the Ratafak costume and was made with the intention to scare the viewer.

I remember my uncle showing me happy tree friends saying it’s a educational cartoon.
I was 6 at the time so I was oblivious to stuff like this.
I clearly remember when I saw the blue moose attempting to stop a rollercoaster when these green and brown figures on it.
When the moose was trying to stop the coaster by force it lost its legs, bones, then it’s waists then crashing down with the others on the coaster.
I was scarred and I still remember it distinctly till this day.

Funny enough I watched that show near my entire childhood i still remember some of the episodes 10 years later
DHMIS is pretty unsettling, but my gosh, it astounds me how much effort and thought was put into it. I'm looking forward to the TV series.

@@Cr3at1veW1zK1d I've seen it, it's freaking great. The focus more on the comedy, but it's still disturbing. One particular episode is even more disturbing than the original series.

1:37 dhmis is actually something i love a lot, it’s kinda like a comfort show for me and its not really disturbing; lots of people were just shown it at a young age and also probably bc of the way the characters meet their demise. like how duck gets his organs eaten, yellow guy drowns in either oil or ink and red guy basically escapes and runs away. it’s disturbing but in an amazing and interesting way and im very glad you included it :D

That weird ice cream man left me without sleep for WEEKS. I was 13 at the time and literally threw up out of fear one time. I could not get his creepy eyes out of my stupid head.
He still activates my fight or flight response to this day.
