So, what you just saw is a virtual k-pop group called K/DA created by Riot Games, who are also the creators of the popular game League of Legends. The game is free, but they make money by selling alternate-looks for the game characters called skins. So, in this case, they said "k, let's make a k-pop group skin for this 4 characters of the game" but the looks weren't enough, so they decided to make a real music video in order to promote the skins they made, and the best way to do that would be by hiring real artists to voice them.
In short, this girl represents an avatar skin from game characters, created a virtual pop star
K/DA (kill/death assist) is completely frame by frame animation by the magicians at Fortiche Studios. This was the first of 5 videos they have so they just get better and better. I highly recommend "Villian"
Oh my! You should definetely check out their performance at the 2018 Worlds Opening Ceremony. It would BLOW YOUR MIND!
And welcome to the amazing world of Riot Games and League of Legends. You should definetly check out other stuff from them. Since you are knowing K/DA for the first time, I recommend you to check out their EP: All Out. It has 5 songs, every single one with a different concept/style video. And the songs are FIRE!. The songs are: The Baddest (this is a pretty badass lyrics video, as weird as that sounds), Villan (Concept video starring Evelynn, the girl with claws), MORE (this one is more like Pop/Stars, being a proper K-Pop music video), I'll Show You (another proper K-Pop video but different from More and Pop/Stars, starring Ahri -fox girl-) and Drum Go Dum (Dance video with an actual dancer who is EXTREMELY talented).
This is Riot Games. They have more money than god. And they really know how to do PR and make what the fans would like

This girls who voiced akali (the rapper) and ahri blonde girl (vocalist) is real kpop idols. They are from G-Idle. Ao if you want to start liaten to kpop it will be easier to start with them.

Just so you are aware, they are entirely made up based on characters in the game League of Legends. They didn't use motion capture for this... Fortiche is the studio that made this for Riot Games, and they also made their animated series Arcane (which is incredible), probably the best animation studio working right now. They performed it once live in 2018 at the League of Legends Worlds Championship, there is a video of it. Highly recommend checking out K/DA - More and some of their other songs as well.
I'm actually shocked you don't know about KDA.
It is and is not(just) K-Pop. KDA and many of their other virtual bands is made by Riot Games, yeah same company that made Arcane ....
They have a Heavy Meatal group called "PentaKill" a Hip-Hop group called True Damage, and as you know a K-Pop group called KDA.
Riot have been more then once been accused of being a music company making video games for promotion :P
