    That's NOT the trail.
As a former trail crew member, I can tell you we don't have trees growing across the trails.

Zion used to be a quiet place to go on Memorial Day weekend but Utah spent a lot of money on advertising tourism and people showed up .i used to go every year but now i will go in the off season when its cooler❤

You are a karen to the extreme You went in the most busy time of the season for any desert location. You also didn't do any of the amazing trails You definitely can escape people in the narrows but your definitely not going to make it that far

Name calling a woman "Karen" is misogynistic.

@@thethickhiker683 Hi thanks for your post. That restaurant at the end had spectacular views. Could you please tell us the name of it?

No offense but it looks like you should have planned ahead a little. Lots of information out there about times and ways to not be in the middle of the rush. The sun was well up on the mountains in the video which tells me you tried to go later in the morning or early afternoon when the rush was its worst. I get the frustration but spending just a little time preparing would have kept you from bring miserable. Also, you look like you entered the campground area for your "hike" and never made it to the trails or up onto HWY 9 where you could have gotten out anywhere you wanted to hike and check out the park. Good luck next time. Plan ahead!

Zion was indeed much less crazy before it became an over popular mob scene. That being said, I was there on the 28th, hiked from 8 AM to 6 PM, and saw zero people. If I said where, it would just become another jammed place but I will say that if you pass through the entrance station at 7, you don't wait.

It's too bad that you had that experience but thank you for making this video. This is real. Any of the places you want to go to, when you want to go there, are crushed by humanity. I've been to 57 of the parks and have had too many experiences like this one. I've gotten very creative and do a ton of research and planning in order to have some good times in national parks.

Thank you for posting this. Maybe it's my sheltered viewing habits, and I know National Parks have been getting more crowded and now the most popular spots you have to make reservations, but I hadn't seen anyone post about the downside of all this popularity. People only want to post the "ideal". I agree that crowds like that really detract from the spiritual renewal nature brings and just that volume of people around is really draining (unless you are at a stimulating event the crowd is there to participate in like a concert or sporting event). Good you spent time reflecting on your experience. thank you for sharing.

No doubt those shuttles reek of BO! I found it better to stand because if you are sitting there is a good chance you are going to have a strangers pit right in your face.

Never need to go again, not to most of the US National Parks. Fortunate I got to visit most of them before shuttles, reservations and PEOPLE.
