Aaaa I'm glad you got how hype the live performance is. That was the version they sang on their most recent tour, and I'm SO glad there's a video of it. Unfortunately there's no official audio recording of this version, so this is the best we got! Also for the relay, I did mean the "relay dance" version, but I had said it'd be good for seeing the members' personalities shine through a bit more, and... I think you still got that with what you watched, so I consider it a success hehe

    dreamcatcher \:D/
the lyrics are pretty abstract so you can interpret it a number of ways. in the context of the trilogy and with the imagery, it's about the connection between mother nature and mankind. despite all the harm we have inflicted on the planet, mother earth still believes in humanity to do the right thing so one day we can bid nature's protectors bon voyage - throughout the series there are images of dreamcatcher coming to earth to warn/protect us and the trilogy ends with them turning off the protective shield and leaving.

Can't help but feel a bit bad from the effort the protectors put in for humanity as we know it, but hope is the last line of defense.

Looking at the lyrics only you may think it's a love song for someone, but it's actually a farewell to planet Earth. This is part 3 of Apocalypse trilogy, wich talks about how humans destroy the environment with their selfish actions. (Part 1 is Maison and Part 2 is Vision btw)
If you know Dreamcatcher, they usually don't have happy endings, and this one wasn't different, in the end the planet reached a state where we can't save it anymore.
Knowing the concept I find kinda funny the lyrics "every cell in me is drawn to you", because it's literally gravity😂
23:17 They did in weekly idol Ep 640
As for acting movie scenes they've done a funny parody called "The world of Dreamcatcher" that is top tier, it's divided in 2 videos in Dreamcatcher's official channel (the duration is pretty short) and everything is self made. If I'm not mistaken the original drama they referenced is "The world of the married", and there is someone who made a side by side comparison of the parody and the actual drama, must watch for sure😂

The song is about humanity and the Earth. Bon Voyage is the final song in the Apocalypse trilogy which focuses on environmental issues. The idea is that we have damaged the Earth and it is striking back at us with extreme heat, storms, and rising sea levels. The song is saying we need to take a break before we destroy each other. Bon Voyage encompasses the idea of being wished a good journey after which we will be welcomed back when the Earth has healed itself. The Earth is our only home and every cell in our bodies is drawn to it. The song does leave a sad feeling because everyone knows that we are not doing well. Every day huge amounts of greenhouse gases pour into the atmosphere from burning towns, oil refineries, and military hardware in Russia and Ukraine. Everything accomplished to reduce the burning of fossil fuels before that war began has been undone by it, and no one says anything. The bill that's coming due is going to be a hefty one.

Yea... kinda sucks to know why the bill will be that way. I actually like songs leaving me w/ a shady feeling tbh. I write my lyrics like that a good 30% of the time

"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right?
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace.
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.

\Had to make Dami & Celly the thumbnail. It's visually my favorite scene, honestly. I like the "wiping ourselves out" take, because it's more along the lines of the road I'd take if writing to the same topic. Oh, hell yea! The vocal pairing w/the acoustic is top notch here, for sure.

I love that KCon performance. They recently started adding new versions)extended versions of songs for their concerts. There are some older songs that got full remakes, with official audio, and some that got additional things like Bonvoyage. As you work back through those songs Ill leave you links to them so you can view them with the original.
They also did an amazing cover of Seventeens Rock with You at KCon as well. If/when you get around to checking out their covers you should add it.

hmm wonder what brought that on. Maybe they were feeling a little "extra" and creative?

@TEEJ-9 it's a bit sad, SuA said they've started doing things in their own concerts that they've always wanted to do at huge year-end award shows like these rearrangements and things but... they're never invited😔. So they just went full out for the 7 doors tour 😊
