Great reaction! This is a song that grows on me the more I listen to it. Ren and gang filmed it in an abandoned building where addicts and homeless people hung out. Ren chose it on purpose in order to create an atmosphere of tension, though his crew had stuff stolen from them, and fights broke out among the drug folk. His cameraman, Sam Perry-Falvey, said it was definitely a bit nerve-racking being there. But Ren got exactly what he wanted out of it, creatively.

If you guys LOVED every song i'd know you were fake. Appreciate you being real. That being said I think you guys should check out Love Music Part 4. Catchy chorus, good rhymes and funny as hell
6 is a lucky number for Chinese people (it sounds like the word for "things go well/auspiciously") so a lot of those multiple 6's may be Chinese people and not folks tempting fate with the Christian triple 6. 😅

You've set yourselves up as "experts" yet missed so much! Sometimes by not rewinding after pausing. Sometimes by speaking over the track. A lot of the time it just went over your head! lol. Although this is just Ren having fun, virtually every line is a bar, if you bother to listen. Double and triple entendres, clever wordplay, humorous lines, metaphors, similes, sometimes just beautiful poetry. His beat is fire too! Ren does it all. Does it in every genre and does so brilliantly! He raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly. He has incredible vocals, capable of multiple voices, styles and tones! He does his own recording setups and audio engineering. He's a top-notch producer, who lays down his own music/beats/audio, mixes and masters. Ren plays about a dozen different instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! His performance skills are first-class and his stage presence is palpable! He directs and edits most of his own videos and many are recorded live, in a single take! A technique which he's become renowned for and won numerous major international awards for! His songwriting is world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody great poet at that! He fully independent. No label, no financial backing, no PR machine or publicist, no management company. Every labelunder the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down! With Ren it really is all about the music! :) Despite his independence... despite being in constant pain and suffering from a whole range of serious, chronic health conditions... despite being unable to tour or to properly promote his work... despite being out of the country at the time, in Canada, in the middle of 18 months of intensive, experimental medical treatment... Despite all thes hurdles, Ren made history, this time last year! He became the first fully independent artist to achieve a number 1 UK album! Knocking Drake off the top spot in the process! It also went top 10 in several other countries, topped the US hip-hop album chart and went to number 1 on the iTunes worldwide chart! An incredible achievment! Especially considering what he has to deal with on a daily basis. Not bad at all for an artist that you were being so condescending about! Ren's a fucking genius and his musical knowledge is vast! Yet imagine having to start each day with the exact same meal you have every single mealtime, because you're allergic to virtually all food and have to take a pill to keep even that down. To start with bucket loads of pills for all your various conditions. Then spend 20 minutes having an electric current passed through your brain, followed by sitting there, for anything up to an hour, with an IV drip in your arm... and this is for when Ren's relatively "healthy". At present he's suffered a relapse and is unable to do anything at all. Ren's a unique artist. A musical genius! A once in a generation talent! He's also an inspirational and wonderful example of a human being! He deserves better than smug sniggering and patronising judgement!
