We Moroccans are not stingy with snake owners. On the contrary, we negotiate when we want to buy a jalaba, but the snake owner should not impose his wish on us, but at the same time we give him 10 dirhams or 20 dirhams or more from a humanitarian aspect because snake owners are people who do not have work or a stable income.
Well done you should teach the RUclips folk, how to do it. They claim, how not to get scammed but get scammed on arrival with the snakes & monkeys. You handled yourself like a pro!

You should not chase anyone who comes to you to show you places because he is just a shop broker who deceives people in order to drive them to the shops he deals with and insists on the tourist to buy at an imaginary price. If you accept the purchase, he gets his commission from the shop owner, and if you do not buy, then he orders you to pay his commission.
