Watching the live feed right now. It’s 6:31pm central time. I tuned in around 5:52pm and neither bird was on the nest for 20 minutes.I don’t know how long the nest was unincubated before I tuned in. After the 20 minutes Jackie returned, but only sat for 7 minutes. I keep hearing her call out, so she’s nearby. I could hear her during the 20 minutes too, possibly trying to call out to shadow. I don’t know that she’s eat anything today. She’s now been off the eggs for another 7 minutes & counting. Can’t help but fear the worst here.
Do you mean he replaced Jackie? I thought they were monogamous can somebody please help me? I don’t know much about eagle but I’ve been following them since 2015.

Why do they keep laying there eggs in the winter? The last eggs didn't survive.
This is by far the most common time all Eagles lay their eggs. They are designed for the cold.
It's much easier for them to keep the eggs warm in the winter than cool in the summer... yes, they are designed for exactly that! 😉
