I love the comment about “measuring for taxation.” It’s an aspect of that world that was ubiquitous. Whether it was for religious or secular reasons, taxation took a heavy toll from the people…fishermen included. Thank you for this video.

useful for feeding a fire or maybe worked in to clay for vessels or maybe bricks, animals COULD eat it, Nothing went to waste in that time... but it was certainly not valued for any higher purposes.
