Today I show you how to hook your spoolmatic to your Trailblazer engine drive welder. When I first purchased my spoolmatic and attempted to use it on my miller engine drive I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t work, turns out you need a control box. Here is the link to purchase one

Good presentation! Your presentation is a pleasure to watch. No theatrics, no vanity, no dumb show and noise, just right.
Hey my dude, thanks for uploading! Just bought a 30a for my trailblazer 301g
Hoping it's the same setup. Have the control box as well. This is going to help me out tomorrow big time. Thanks again
good stuff! that's why I made it!
Awesome man. Thank you. Your the only one to show this. I'm getting a 30A pro for my 325, and I wanted to see how it's done. I am so excited.
Good luck! Should open some doors for you
Thank you sooooooo much dude
Hey brother great video. You have been and will be to others a great inspiration and teacher. I have to ask, I have an Sp-30 and WC-24. I run a Lincoln Ranger 8 Tig runner with high-freak module and contactor. Only on-off remote. Works great. I want to run the miller spool gun from the Ranger. I need to know the pin-out & line voltage of the trailblazer/bobcat running to the WC-24? The guy that knows retired. I have spent hours looking at miller pdfs and have not found the pin-out & line voltage. I think miller runs on 12volt and Lincoln runs 24v.?
Most under rated welder on RUclips
nice video
👍👍
Nice truck man. I have the same setup, just extended cab.
well im jealous, I want 4x4! and Hydrulic stablizers!
@@MeltinMetalAnthony im jealous of your crane
Appreciate it man, im looking 1 up for my Vantage 322.
go you have a round connector and does the machine have cc/cv
@@MeltinMetalAnthony yes it has option for cv wire. 14 and 6 prong connector.
@@TheJsote1988 ok you should need Lincolns version of a control box to allow wire speed control and trigger function
Can it be connected to my bobcat 250
What’s a good gas or diesel powered welder to get for multiprocess welding? I hear a lot of Ppl say to get a diesel driven welder because you can go farther with it not realy sure how or what they mean by it but what do you recommend buying to get started rig welding
only difference would be machine longevity, function wise the type of motor makes no difference. You want something with a 14 plug connector or accessories
Bro I wish I could do this on my Lincoln 305 g
Now how do you have any idea what your wire speed is set at? Just got mine hooked up to a 325 EFI machine and not too sure
the wire speed control is on the gun
I have a Bobcat 225 and the same spool gun 30A, what do I need to make it work? Buen día
Did you ever figure it out? I have a 250 trying to do the same
What does the weld controller do?
I’d be lying if I told ya I knew! I think enables the trigger function🤷♂️
Hey man I'm looking into a trailblazer 302. How do you like yours? I'm stuck between a 302 or a 325. Thanks.
both are great machines. 325 is the newer model unless its a airpak
Hopefully I’ll get a reply but I’ve got a 600 airpak. Will this work for me? I don’t have a “wire” hookup location. I just have negative and positive. Can I just put it straight to the positive. I mean mine has the same dial as yours with the “wire CV” on the remote side
no that won't work. im jealous of your machine Btw. you need to get a control box in order to make the trigger function work. thats basically all the 14 pin does
@@MeltinMetalAnthony so I need that big control box that you have in the video and that’s it? (WC-24) as far as the actual hookup for the positive or hot, I don’t have the “wire” I just have positive and negative. If I get the control box do I just hook the gun to the positive? I know the box will hook to the “remote”
I’m not trolling, but I always thought MIG was run on DCNegative. Is there a reason why yours is positive?
on aluminum always positive. thats flux core thats dcen
@@MeltinMetalAnthony Ahh I see, good to know before I break one ha!
Is it AC or dc? My trailblazer is different
Fairly sure it’s DC positive
Idk where you paid $200-$300. I don't see them anywhere under $400. The spoolgun you're using is around $1k.
He's talking about his control box not the spool gun itself
The control box alone is around $600 retail. The spool gun itself is around $2000 new.
