Just ordered the VVT “Mark 82” cam kit with the mds delete a couple days ago. Going in my 2012 Ram 1500 5.7. And a few other performance mods and additions. Just waiting on the mechanic to get done…. Im like a kid (at 44) on Xmas eve waiting for morning to come to open my presents, I cant wait!!
this is amazing as somebody who’s about to start doing some engine work on their lifted 5.7 Ram and has zero experience under the hood besides changing spark plugs. thank you so so much for the great info. and i agree, Moe’s Performance is wonderful too; they’ve helped me a lot with understanding what i do and don’t need
@Flyin' Ryan Performance ...how much h.p. gain would I get with the Tomahawk camshaft... 2014 5.7 Challenger RT w/ cai, 85mm bbk throttle body, 93 octane Diablo tune??? Trying to decide between the MK82 & Tomahawk

I've gotta a Jay Greene stage 1.5 LL cam and hellcat lifters with MDS delete. I am making a goal for a 3800 stall converter for a 2015 ram 8speed though. Watcha got?

Hey there. Doing a 5.7 to a 6.4 swap in my 2010 Ram 2500. Stock 5.7 intake, stock 5.7 exhaust manifolds, the cam I got with the motor is a non-mds SRT cam. Was curious which cam I could upgrade to on stock springs etc. That will give me more power and torque down in the lower rpm’s with a little chop. Or would this SRT cam work well enough with a tune from you. Thanks
Contents of the cam kit are listed item by item on our website frptuning.com . It does not come with retainers as we use drop in springs that can reuse the oem hardware.

I don't see any retainers with the kit do retainers come with the mark82 cam

Tomahawk or Tomahawk 2.0
So the 1320 stall would be good for the mark82 kit and the Tomahawk Cam? Isn't the 1320 stall a 2350 tho?
I got a question , so from what I learning is that , I could just slap the Mark 82 cam right on after I just purchased my 2019 charger rt , Correct?

Will the mark 82 pass smog California?
If tomahawk needs 3200 stall and 1320 converter is good for it… isn’t the 1320 converter 2350 stall?
Thats what its officially rated at, however, the 1320 flash stall speed is often 3200 rpm. -Team FRP
