    Nice review.
Some context on the LTT, (based on what they have said)
They choose to work with Megapro, in part, as fellow Canadians.
The ratchet mechanism and shaft are made in China (same as mega pro)
The bits are made in Taiwan (I think).
The handle and final assembly are done in Canada.
The short bits were a compromise to make the handle shorter, but they did make sure standard bits would still fit, and made replacements easily available (unlike some of Klein's with 80 bit types, by the time you find what you need, you could have gone to Lowes and bought a new driver).
They tweaked the gear design to improve back drag. Project farm determined the LTT was improved by a bit. He also took them apart and did see changes made. The changes are probably insignificant, unless you are working on small computer screws. As you pointed out, they adapted an automotive driver for small electronics.
I'm interested to know if the magnet changed...Some other reviews found a very notable difference the magnet strength, with LTT beating out everyone beside PB Swiss.
If you stick the drives together with a 1/4" hex bit and try to pull them apart, which magnet wins?
Is it worth the $75? Absolutely not, but a snap-on isn't worth $95 either. Is it impressive a youtube infotainment company was able to produce a screwdriver that competes with the likes of Snapon and PB Swiss - absolutely.

I appreciate your insight. I think for being a RUclips channel they did something unique. However I don’t think the improvements are substantial and could be considered as just the same or worse. I do not care for the specialty bits for a $75 driver.
The gears function identical with the Megapro actually sounding less “notchy”. I do like LTT’s directional lever better but it pretty much ends there.
Good idea for the magnet test. I just went out and tested a 1/4” bit with both drivers. 5 tests each then swapped over and 5 more pulls. Megapro won 8 out of 10 times. That makes me think the magnets are probably from the same pile and nothing special is used for LTT. If not then LTT is sourcing worse magnets than their manufacturing counterpart.
Again is it worth the $75 for this ratchet? No. It’s a cool attempt at an idea but it should be priced right in line with Megapro. Snap on does make a solid driver that is super resilient as does PB Swiss.

@@thingsmenThat's interesting about the magnet. I got the bit idea from last best tool, who showed the ltt win against all but the PB. Wouldn't be surprised if China did the ol' secret switch at some point, hoping no one will notice. They just had that issue with their backpack - just before the mass production run, someone took out the dual layer bottom, thinking it was a "mistake". Seems their long term quality control needs to be improved.
I hope they continue working on the driver, and can bring the price down to something reasonable. I love seeing things made by individuals and small businesses.

@@notme232 yea I imagine if they are built in the same factory overseas then most of those items can easily be interchanged during production.
Interesting story about the backpack. Might explain what’s going on here. I too like a small US business story, but it’s also got to distinguish itself from the rest. 👍🏻

Great video, I would take the megapro, I like the ltt one but the proprietary bits are not my favorite.

I think they are both really nice but, for me there just to pricey. I'll take a five, six dollar regular screwdriver. But that's just me, I don't really like ratcheting screwdrivers. Great video and thanks for sharing.

Yes, $75 is Snap On pricing and the LTT is not in the same level of build and quality. Thanks for commenting. Please give us a like and subscribe. 👍🏻
