- Hey guys, here's episode 3 of my top 200 mods for Minecraft 1.12.2 series. Some really good ones in here, some average ones but we're making steady progress! I'm mostly using BSL Shaders in this video, but there where some points that I did switch to SEUS Renewed, as they worked better for the scene. I did some recording in my own world too that I'm working on, and remember to leave any future suggestions that you might have :).

Important: A lot of people get a bit confused and say a mod doesn't exist for 1.12.2, but that's because it's usually hidden on the CurseForge home page if it's also available for newer versions. One example is The Lost Cities, the 1.12.2 link isn't on the mods homepage, here's what you have to do: On the mod page, click the 'Files' tab at the top of the page, then scroll down and click the 'View All' button. On this page, there's a dropdown in the top right where you choose 'Game Version', then you can just select 1.12.2 from this list!

Tlmods button is beside enter game button.
@Ojas Sharma You can look that up, there are many, MANY videos on that. All you have to do is download the Curseforge Launcher setup and run it, you'll be able to access your mods and Forge versions from the Curseforge launcher.

Ido is fine, but I recommend another mod called Aqua Acrobatics. It’s more accurate to 1.13+, adds more features (like third person eating animations), and is entirely configurable

I like mods in this episode more than your other episodes. For more realism I would literally prefer Better foliage mod more than no cube mod ae it will make trees more realistic and quite non blocky.

Epic Siege is still PTSD inducing fun to this day. I both hate it and love it XD No mater what kind of base/defenses you have they will breach it.
Haha yeah, hearing Creepers explode in the caves below trying to get close is quite intimidating.
I like this list of mods. I gonna build a 1.12.2 instance with this list.

Tip: BetterNether's egg plants are an amazing security system on Multiplayer since they poison anyone on the same block as them, but mobs consider them a block to walk on so you can use it as security against hostile mobs too

Fun tip. If you have both biomes o plenty and oh the biomes you'll go they normally don't work together. But if you have lost cities there's a world generation preset you can chose that loads biomes o plenty alongside lost cities and will also load biomes you'll go if you have it installed. So you can have all three biome mods in your world at once. The preset only mentions biomes o plenty on the tab but it does load all three.

What he meant is that if you use the mod "Lost Cities", there is a world gen preset that works with the mods "Biomes o' Plenty" and "Oh the Biomes You'll Go", which are otherwise incompatible. It sounds incoherent because someone though it was a cool idea to name a mod "oh the biomes you'll go"

They're coming from Biomes O' Plenty!
Check out Aqua Acrobatics.... it's like IDO but it's actually better, it has the 1.15-1.16 animations where IDO's uses its own, and there are animations from crawling to standing and from swimming to standing that there are in 1.16, but ido's just animation skips

I am slightly bamboozled by seeing 1.14 items such as the lantern and cornflower in a video focusing on awesome 1.12.2 mods (although a lot of these are also available for 1.14 and above)
He showcased in an older video that there's a 1.12.2 mod that brings in features from newer updates! :3

What's the name of the block name and the mode of showing the life of the mobs? I'd appreciate it if you'd answer quickly, good work.
Attack on Minecraft is a great 1.12 mod, feels like the actual Anime, and has a lot of cool features to it

i have tring to make my game look for realistic and also make is it give you that fallout feel and i found alot of the mods here

I'm guessing you have a better video card than I do (2070 Super) but I'd love to know your video and shader settings. BSL shaders are my favorite, which I think you use as well, and things are working pretty good, but I'm trying to eek out more performance without sacrificing too much shader goodness. Is that something you'd be willing to share?
I actually just have the RTX 2070. For BSL, I haven't actually changed anything, but I believe there's presets in the shader options menu. I typically keep render distance low, smooth lighting up and graphics to fancy, and I freeze the sun into a good position for videos because lighting is everything haha.
Your videos do look amazing! I can't even play without shaders anymore, too bland. Thanks for the info! I've found render distance makes a huge difference, but I've played with the shader settings as well. I manage a pretty stable 60 FPS.
I’d highly recommend Into the Maelstrom mod, deserves a spot or honorable mention. Really recent big rpg mod with some of the cleanest animations and mechanics

No problem, I actually have a video on my channel for turning Minecraft into a post apocalyptic Zombie survival game which might be useful! And I try to upload every Monday and Thursday :), but sometimes I'll skip a Monday if I have too much going on irl.
