Hi bro as I sad as per our Indian rules a drone under 250 grams is allowed in india. So you can bring it in your bag as I got it. Anything above the weight is not allowed.

Box if you leave wound the best way. I can’t really speak for the customs department but as far as I know the drone under 250g is allowed but still double check on customs website.

I didn’t see the need to do so as it was allowed by law as it’s under 250g and didn’t exceed the the customs value

I will be flying to India next month for my travel contents, Can I bring my DJI mini 3 Pro (less then 250g) under Nano Category without problem in Airport to bring? I am not a local of India, i am a tourist.
Hi! So if you want to get the drone to India it should not be a problem as it’s under the weight limit.
But since you’re a foreigner I’d say avoid it as they could confiscate the drone due to security reason. As India is very strict about such things when it comes to foreign nationals.
Even if you manage to get the drone out or get one from India. You will run into regular problems with police officers as many areas are no fly zones. And you could land your self in big trouble.
I would suggest to find a drone operator in india who can help you.

HEY I BOUGHT A MINI 4 PRO WITH EXTENDED BATTERY PLUS . THE NORMAL BATTERY MAKES THE DRONE 249 GRAMS BUT THE BATTERY I HAVE IS 45 MINTS EXTENDED ONE WHICH MAKES THE DRONE 305 GRAMS. CAN I BRING IT TO INDIA FROM USA I AM STOPPING AT DELHI AND THEN GOING TO KOCHI AND AND GOING BACK TO US AFTER A MONTH. PLEASE ADVISE IF I CAN STILL TAKE IT . No worries get it. Drone and battery are to be in diff bags. So no issue.

I am very much in tension while buying DJI mini 3 pro.
I had discussed with one of custom officer, he said drone can be taken by officer and it won't return to me. One of my friend is going to visit Malaysia this month, what should I do? Can you please honestly share your views, will I buy it from Malaysia, and if custom officer stop us what to do?

@@aamirmushtaq9873 under 250 grams is not banned. Anything above that weight is confiscated and returned when you’re leaving india again by customs.

Cash is best. And cards is next. If you have credit card pls make sure you inform bank about the big transaction or they will block your card thinking some is misusing ur card abroad. So get international roaming activated coz the bank will call you to confirm your transaction if not then they will reverse or block your card.

Also his flight is Air India and in their luggage policy its mention " drone is not allowed in hand or checked in luggage" so help please, Am ordering mini 3 pro as well .
Hi thanks for the comment. I just travelled air India on domestic flight and they didn’t say anything but if they have a policy for international flights then it’s best to check in advance if they allow before buying the drone.

Import of all types of drones are prohibited in India. What you are teaching here is not legal and is sofesticated smuggling. Even if drone is less then 249 gm. It is not allowed in India for a reason. We have to respect government decision. Please stop misguiding others. Multiple people will get their drone seize by customs. There is no duty to be paid. It's prohibited.

@@dibyendudhara1 yea for some reason drones have different rules. Maybe it’s because it can fly and a camera can’t. But I’ve been carrying my drone only on check in no airline as allowed me yet to carry one in hand carry.
