My dad owned a 91 Plymouth Grand Voyager in black cherry and red interior. We went everywhere in that thing. It's nice to see one of these things in as good of shape. This generation of the Chrysler minivan holds a special place in my heart!
I love the nostalgia nice to see people that take care of and maintain old cars instead of scrapping them. I have a 06 caravan paid 750$ for took me and my family from TN to NJ on a trip. I will never buy into the new car mentality, loved the video!
The first car I ever drove was my great grandmother's caravan. Looked exactly the same, woodgrain-on-beige combo and all! She had a farm with lots of private roads so I was probably 8 or so years old the first time I got to go for a spin in it, I couldn't quite see over the steering wheel yet lol. Memories!
Nice walk down memory lane. I had a 1992 red one with a grey interior and those same red and black stripes on the seats. I didn't have (or want) the fake wood panel. I forgot how the back doors only opened on one side. I use a minivan to carry gear and production crew, but now I have power sliding doors, power rear tailgate, heated seats, all the back seats fold into the floor, satellite radio, air bags the list goes on and on. I can't imagine why someone would buy a 1990, no matter how nice, unless it was really cheap. But I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.
i'm just watching the TOM CRUISE'S movie "War of Worlds" and he drives a CHRYSLER or a PLYMOUTH VOYAGER... and i see that has the THIRD ROW ROLLING DOWN WINDOWS ... ¿¿ does the CARAVAN or the VOYAGER comes with that feature ???? ¿¿¿ or is just a movie made tune minivan ??? or did you know if it's possible to make that conversion ???
Its clean.. but the trim level is not so high and also.. not THAT clean.. id say 2A condition for the hood insulation and the carpets and chairs. 10k.. way too much. Nice touch on that infiniti radio, but thats about all there is.

I loved the one we had here during 13 years

Same old school all the way

I like everything about this minivan, both inside and out, but especially the seat pattern! :)

For 1991 this was nice. Station wagons were relevant and this is like a minivan station wagon.
This one is a 1991, because all Chrysler minivans were redesigned to this body style that year. Very nice though. A rare find indeed.
Miss my 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager LE, it was green with woodgrain. Hated the Bindix 10 ABS System.
The 1991 used the metal door handles and metal roof rack left over from the first gen, by 92 those were changed to plastic
OMG, someone else that knows this!!!
@@bulbman7080 yes I grew up with these and my dad still has at least 20 some in his scap yard that I use to keep my 94 going, 323k and still counting
The 1992 Caravans changed the key in the ignition chime to have it play at a faster pace.

It is actually a 1991-1995 model because the 1984-1990 models were more boxy shaped, but not like this one. Nice review by the way.
90 or 91 not later - the mk1 dashboard changed on 93 and a old shaped steering wheel.
beautiful youngtimer ;-)
Sorry it's a 4K van ask a bit less Clovis did NOT affect them that much

How come this 1991 Grand Caravan didn't have an airbag at all?
It did this was a very early model middle of 91
