When everyone heard Pilla was KIA over the radio, everyone went quiet. Their aura of invisibility was cracked. I remember reading an article a while back, Pilla was revered throughout his unit, he was a Soldier that always did what needed to be done to get the job done, he had a reputation of being a fearless Soldier, almost like a super soldier so to speak. He took out several militiamen in that run including the guy that shot him. When news hit he was KIA it really hit the rest of the guys mentally. What can become of us if we lose someone like Pilla? Well it is a very well-made film. Not 100% accurate, about 85%, imho. For instance, from the book, Sgt Eversman spent some of the Fire-fight laid in the back of a humvee, looking up at the sky and Walcott's Blackhawk actually ended up in an alleyway.

Hans Zimmer a fait, avec cette musique, une musique peu également et pour l'instant, je n'ai pas trouvé de musique de ce calibre qui délivre une aussi grande charge émotionnelle. Par ailleurs, que ces hommes reposent en paix, en tant que futur soldat français, j'aime le milieu militaire et je le respecte énormément . Je suis extrêmement touché par leur sacrifice.

Men paid the price for US imperialism in Vietnam, in Somalia, in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Syria. And don't mistake me just going out after the US, this goes for almost any country having military ambitions outside their borders. Sure, there are evil people out there, and we do need to fight them, but this should be for defense of our countries and our peoples, not for oil, natural resources, money or any other such benefit that will never even reach the people these men fight to protect. This is what plays the back of a combat veterans head when he's/she's driving to work on trash day. To those who don't know, the threat of IEDs and seeing objects on the side of the road that weren't there yesterday can be quite the gauntlet to drive through. Trauma can make regular life a bit harrowing sometimes.

What happened in real life is tragic
This is what plays the back of a combat veterans head when he's/she's driving to work on trash day. To those who don't know, the threat of IEDs and seeing objects on the side of the road that weren't there yesterday can be quite the gauntlet to drive through. Trauma can make regular life a bit harrowing sometimes.
