- With Charlie Adelson facing the real possibility of life in prison, if convicted, Surviving the Survivor explores what his life behind bars could be like.
No one knows more about this than ex-cons AB Butler, Gunner Alan Lindbloom and Quan Huynh who all served serious time.
What happens if you flip? How are privileged white men are treated behind bars ...all this and more on this STS ...#STSNation
It was interesting to see from their perspective. I think Charlie is thinking about how Wendi is ungrateful and threw him under the bus disguised into reverse psychology. She covered herself only being so open with the police on the day of the murder.
I agree. She was using reverse psychology.
In fact, Wendi was offering them up as her alibi. I believe this as Wendi waited until the "end" of her relationship with Lacasse to confide Chucky tried it before in 2013. This was FIVE days before Dan's murder.
@@tigerlily9536 On Judy's channel, Epstein was repeating this issue to prove that she wasn't involved in the planning. It's called reverse psychology. I think that's what she was doing with Laccase: "You have to check out her brother" that's what Lacasse told the police. Although her brother hated Dan and had the connections to carry out the murder, Wendi definitely was interested in the murder and gave her approval, without a doubt in my mind. So her tactic of reverse psychology started before the murder.
We have to wait and see what happens. There's more than one possibility.
@@tigerlily9536 Anyway, they all thought they're getting away with murder. If not for the neighbor that saw the Prius and LR and keeping the case alive etc. they would continue as a happy enmeshed family.
Thank you guys, for being here and telling your story!
Fantastic idea for a show….thanks
So interesting I didn’t even care about the sound. I could hear more on prison life and Charlie. Maybe ex-security guards to talk about what really happens in jail. After listening to this, Charlie’s in big trouble. Thank you for this amazing presentation and thank you to your
excellent guests.
Great show, too bad with audio. The panel was great, their insight is very powerful.
Happy these gentlemen turned their lives around.
I miss hearing Karm's voice
Great show. Love these guys, their insights and stories and how they've been able to live a good life, post-prison. Thanks to all of you!
Really enjoyed this show. Thanks for having them on to share their perspectives.
This was a unique and interesting perspective. Thanks for another great episode!
I think it would have been better to interview ex-cons that actually knew something about the Markel case. Sorry to sound negative but how can they weigh in when they clearly have no knowledge of the case at all.
I agree.
@@lh98 Their insights into their own experiences in jail were invaluable. I believe they hit the mark for sure with this case.
@@tigerlily9536 but he was asking “how it will be for Charlie” when they clearly don’t know a damn thing about who Charlie is or what he’s done other than be involved in a murder for hire if they even comprehended that much of the case. They should have been better prepared to speak on this topic but hey that’s just my take on it. Feel as you wish.
@@lh98 they've met plenty of Charlie's while in prison.. They know the drill
Great show!! Thank you to you and your panel! It is going to be very interesting to see how their predictions pan out!!!
I agree with AB. If he turns on family when he gets out he has noone left for him. Also he has no career and big money may longer be there
Wow. Thank you for such a line up.❤️
Joel, these Guys are Awesome. You have to bring them back. One of your best shows, despite the noise interference.
Adelson discussion: 8:27
It’s a pity the sound from AB is difficult to understand, he has wise words to say
Quan "especially with guys who like to talk too much". BINGO
This was interesting. Please thank your guests for sharing a piece of their lives.
I was drowning in the aquarium bubbles sound effect.
great discussion!
Don't worry it was good one first time there was always a little hitch. I hope and wish you and your Mama are well and happy.
Mama's boy is in the house looking good as always. Omg that is hilarious! " I am always impressed that guys in prison get more ass than me who is outside" Hahahahahaha! This show is so interesting! Gunner Allan has professional vocals like a journalist and he is an author wow! Quan Huynn turning his life around by creating jobs for ex-cons brought tears to my eyes. It was nearly impossible to hear AB Butler's voice that is too bad! Mama's boy can you please do another video interview with AB Butler, if you do ask him the exact same questions for I want to hear what he has to say. He seems to have so much wisdom but the sound of his voice was muted.
Excellent. Great perspective on this case. It was great to see them comment from a fresh point of view. They don’t have the biases we may have. To hear the opinion of the ex cons was so interesting! Also, how likeable these men are and knowing the serious crimes they committed. Thank for this! I will look up their books. Glad to hear how they turned their lives around. Pretty terrifying for CA. This is the raw truth. Donna look what you’ve done to your kids. Psycho!
Charlie is a white collar dentist who's never been arrested!! Prison is killing him mentally. He will try to kill himself. He's also capable of telling on everyone. It all depends on the person themselves and their strength mentally. AB is 100% correct.
You can have some of my time on your program as a speaker as an ex convict. I'm 53 years old and been arrested many times and served years in prison. I was a suspect in numerous murders in the 90's. I can give you much feedback when it comes to serving time, plea deals and sentencing. I'm Italian and grew up in a tough neighborhood.
Looking at the titles behind you for some book recs! Hello to Cutout Carm.
Glad you are safe!
And the 3 great realistic thinking persons you are sitting with today. Bravo!
Go watch the movie " Shawshank redemption " and Charlie is going to go through exactly what the white lawyer did. It will play out just about exactly how that movie plays out.
I think Gunner’s instinct is spot on here. And I don’t think he knows the case that well which serves to bolster the point. Charlie would say ‘where do I sign’ if he gets a manageable deal where he sees the light of day someday down the road, a less harsh prison, conjugal visits, and avoids the ghastly prospect of being pimped out for protection. As a side note, this conjured unsettling memories of watching an old American Justice episode where it chronicled the odious Richard Speck, who grew breasts and was a sex slave in prison. I’d have to think Charlie makes a deal and flips, or rolls the dice and gets a feel for his acquittal prospects, and if he knows he’s doomed, commits suicide. Life in a maximum security prison is simply not an option as I see it.
🥺🥺This was next level!!👏👏👏👏
Deep thanks!! Very clever perspective! 🙏🏽🥰👏💗
OMG what a great show. Loved hearing your guests stories.
🤡🤡 Line up, Line up 🤡🤡
Chucky's FREE dental clinic, everything is FREE, come on down!
Great show! Were you intimidated to ask them to mute their mike when others are talkin?? 😂😂 Just razzin you
I thought that too 😂
Glad you guys are okay 👍 👌
Wouldn’t it have helped to interview ex-cons that actually knew anything about the Markel case? 🤔😳 their lack of knowledge about the case made it kind of pointless to get their take on anything.
He'll go to Thailand, date underage girls and restart his career there. Charlie won't look back
You missed the point. The point was to get the perspective of ex-cons on how Charlie might be treated in prison - not their expert view on who was involved. The details of the case (as we know them today) weren’t important to get the panel to provide us with insight on how the general prison population treats fellow inmates based on several variables. Some of those variables were outlined to the panel (e.g., rich white Jewish dentist convicted of murder), and some have not yet been established - e.g., will he start his sentence as a snitch. The panel didn’t need to know the case detail to provide us with an understanding, based on their real-life experiences, on what Charlie’s life may be like behind bars.
That was a really good point about Charlie not turning on his family knowing he will need them on the outside. I had not considered that.
This was so interesting. Such a great idea to get input from these 3 men who have experience in prison. They made a lot of great points and had good insight.
And as always, thanks for the show! This was an interesting angle, nicely done.
#Cut out Karm
Top shows you do. Thank you ;)
Charlie Adelson is right. He is on both side of the track. He will spend the rest of his life on the wrong side of the track.
Great show! I’d love to see a show with Jeff LaCasse & Fanci Fiction, if possible. Those two would be so good to have in tandem. ❤️❤️
I’d love to see them come back again!
Gunner droppin wisdom here. If you're going to do something, do it alone.
If you want something done right do it yourself
Good podcast. The only thing you flubbed was saying that both Garcia and Rivera were members of The Latin Kings. Only Rivera was a member.
Too bad about the audio but this is real talk. Charlie is going to have some hard time. Very hard.
One thing I forgot until recently is that Wendy was a student of Game Theory. I have no doubt she was the mastermind and master manipulator of her family. I have been sidetracked in my mind oh it must have been Donna, maybe Charlie, or even Harvey. They all had their roles but she was the wizard behind the curtain.
An all star panel that includes the next Mario Puzo.
All your accomplishments are amazing. You are putting me to shame. Lol
Stay great!!!
Gunner is an alpha male bro
This was very interesting, but there was some horrible background noise, so I finally gave up. Is there any way you could filter out that noise, so that I can watch the remainder of this video?
Great Video 💟
1 year later Charlie has been convicted of 1st degree murder
Prison for a guy like that well you can imagine
Very enjoyable video,,,,the streets,,,
Great music intro:
"Hava nagila" (Let us rejoice)
הבה נגילה
Charlie has his mind on his money and his money on his mind 😢✌🏻
Audio is rough w one of the guys
I find it very intriguing when ex convicts give us some real life senarios ! their lives and their minds, the way they think is extremely mind boggling yet interesting
Sound was horrible. Had to turn it off.
The sound is Soooo muddled ugh
My Respect to your Guests who Changed their Lives for The Best, I admire them from the bottom of my heart, Keep up the good works and the Good lives you are enjoying after being "INSIDE".By the way the Audio did not entertained me much.
I wonder if Gunner is right about the flipping 🤔 But then AB is right about who would be there to send him $ if he where to flip. This will be interesting.
They really are f****** special unicorns.
Sorry but I can’t take the audio on this one
Omg the fkin audio was unbearable. Stream yard is garbage
Get guests who follow the story!
Charlie is in BIG TROUBLE hehe
Both guys were not apart of the Latin Kings only one of them
Horrible sound. Could not enjoy! Invest in better sound equipment.
Introductions are way to long.
This AUDIO WAS HORRIBLE I COULD NOT WATCH
fyi.. ONLY luis GARCIA was a LATIN KING. SG was not a LATIN KING.
Very enjoyable video,,,,the streets,,,
