I feel like either the block HP should go both ways, or the boss should be limited to strictly addition with a small Release field. The amount of defense the block HP gives along with how quickly the boss was able to make Death Stars was completely unbalanced
Wow I didn't expect the boss to die also. It would be cool if 2 balls collide they cancel their numbers out so if blue launched a 100 at a grey 1000 the blue ball would disappear but and the grey ball would lower to 900.
That would be a buff to death stars I suspect. They'll have the sheer HP to absorb smaller death stars and nothing at all would be able to deflect them
That last kill was a fluke really. I think one fun way to balance it would be that after one of the 4 colors dies the other 3 gain it's marbles, like a "avenge" system for the team Start with 4 colors 6 marbles each, then 3 colors 8 marbles each, 2 colors 12 marbles each and lastly if it gets to 1 color it should get all 24 marbles for a real chance of comeback Just an idea
This was interesting, it must be very hard to balance this sort of thing because either side can gain an exponential amount of damage. Perhaps having the boss start with two or three marbles instead of four would have been more fair, given its massive defensive advantage. If the boss's defense is insufficient to overcome random penetrating shots if its offense is too weak (i.e. when starting with two marbles), the boss could be given barriers. Several concentric layers of shield - two, three, four, and five blocks in radius, for instance. Each shield can absorb and neutralize (i.e. delete completely) one hit of any magnitude - meaning the boss needs to be 'hit' several times before it is destroyed. To make it even more fun, destroying the shield could re-claim the area for some blocks around its radius (up to the 20-ish health blocks), and add an extra marble (or two, for the final stage) to the boss. Y'know, like bosses tend to have 'phases', get harder as you deal damage to them.
Plane MoR-BB5-MR (colloquially "The Granite Mystery"), final report: Entire plane is filled with a uniform grey substance; despite the epithet, the solid possesses an atomic structure entirely unlike that of any known rock. Portal was initially blocked by this substance, with ingress only being obtained once a specific acid formulation proved capable of dissolution. See appendix A for further potential research avenues arising from this novel compound. Despite a total lack of change in appearance and apparent firmness, substance becomes increasingly resistant to all forms of degradation as a central point is approached. Reaching said central point took our exploratory teams the better part of a month due to unforeseen hazards. Specifically, any missing "rock" may be filled in seemingly at random at any time, leading to erasure of any matter previously present in the gap. R&D eventually produced specialized suits that maintain a continuous coating of the dissolving agent; see appendix B for schematics and potential applications in other known planar missions. Oddly, the denser matter forms a sort of "shell" around an area of regular permeability. At the center of this shell was found the only deviation from the otherwise uniform makeup of the plane: A small, darker-colored sphere of the same material sat embedded in the stone until a retrieval team was able to detect it via modified sonar and carefully free the object without exposing it to the damaging acid. See attached test results in appendix C; it is thought that the sphere is somehow responsible for the state of this plane, however it now appears to be completely inert or "dead". Investigation into the generation mechanism (if it does indeed exist) is considered a high but not urgent priority, as the inability to be defeated by all but the most specific or overwhelming countermeasures may prove useful in planar forays in the future.
Idea: Boss Battle - Summoner When a Boss's ball that exceeds a certain number touches the enemy's territory, it becomes a cannon. The cannon's stats (hp, multiplier, marble amount, etc.) depends on the number on the ball shot. The summoned cannons attack like the ones in normal multiply/releases (burst).
This is what happens before a normal territory wars video, its rare for the 4 colors to win and have all 4 being alive. But after the boss battle, they then trade land and go to war with themselves.
Lol that was a weird battel, had of too green landing that finish blow right after killing himself. This was like a party raid fail that somehow got the boss in the end.
Please, return the thing there the coloured(non-boss) marbles could not only paint the squares in their colour, but also in the closest non-boss player colour. It was much nicer this way, and without it, the grid turns into mess in the late game.(sorry for mistakes, English is not my mother language)
The boss is too op in defense, but green managed to penetrate it and killed the boss Edit: I'd suggest a reupload of this video right after the modifications E.g. Apply large shot decay to the boss only, or/and apply multiply limit just in case to prevent the video ending too early
??? the fortress creator. Not much is known about him, though some reports claim he wants to get subjects to be experimented on for morally dubious research.
funny fact: the green was still alive then the boss destroyed him. and the minion get to the center and defeated the boss. and then gets destroyed. and then of 1 month of fighting for the last survivor then they did it.
Can you give me the tutorial about how to make a "Territory Wars Marble Race" in Algodoo? I'm very need it for my marble race. I want to tell you that my age is under 13. Please answer my comment.
This is on another level of unbalanced nonsense. Nice to see lime not get eliminated first for once but this is like playing dark souls NG+ blindfolded with no hands
Looks like the Boss has a HUGE advantage.
Xd
How so?

The last few minutes really captured the DVD screen saver aesthetic from all our childhoods.
For some reason, the boss got a hugely disproportionate number of balls landing on multiply. It was launching mega ball after mega ball.
Green straight up said if I'm going down, you're coming with me

It betrayed itself by pushing the boss bullet to itself then it also went for the boss.
