its actually not, since db is an easy way to represent ratio in a logarithmic scale, but seeing as the mixer will be powered by 230V the voltage from that mic source would be obscene!
it you want to use it with serato it may be cool be if you use it with traktor or without any computer the DJM-2000 is better for the price and if you have a lot of money but dont necessarily want to but 3000$ on a mixer the djm-900 at 2000$ will be a good option when it will be available especially if you are a traktor dj
Or go totally Traktor, with a controller like S4, Or go totally cd-player/pioneer cdj/etcetc... not a way between. But i think the 'plug all in to 1 controle service''-idea is the future.
the effect section is not good..no auto BPM, the midi buttons aren't playable So instead of wasting sh*t load of money on this buy a pioneer or an A&H with a SL4
Song: Wippenberg - Pong (Petros T. BulletProof Mix)
Great review btw!
Thank you Ean for picking my remix! im Pleasured
Track ID: Wippenberg - Pong (Petros T. BulletProof Mix)
Support!
The track playing the background is Wippenberg - Pong (Petros T. Bulletproof Mix)
Did you get to keep the mixer or have it at half price?
@raptorekpl Decibel is a sound power unit. Volts is an electrical power unit. No mistake here.
@DjFusion86 Don't think this is going to be a new "club-standard" so switching between 2 dj's won't be such a problem.
@DJNylen You're halfway right- it's the Wideboys Club Remix.
ttm57 is the best because it ensures your a dj... with these new mixers it allows you to slack and still sound good
Just for the sake of correctness. It's not "+48dB phantom power". It's +48V. It would be tricky to tell voltage in dB's. ;-) Peace.
@timoty1001 Ah, I might have got that wrong. My bad in that case. All the best for you and DJ Techtools team.
the auto bpm detect works if ur using the usb interface with serato
where can i purchase the arcade midi box you have on the table? would it work with Serato?

I'm getting this very soon!!!! Yeee
@RubixProduction Wippenberg - Pong (Petros T. Bulletproof mix)
whats the song in the background? great fun electro!!
Do you need a traktor audio card too use traktor scratch?
@lifeofthunder ah, okey. Uhm, these seem identical to me o.O Wonder who has the right for the remix.
So did you get to keep it? :D
Very cool

Anyone know what the name of the "Arcade" controller he has next to him?
@DJNylen The remix was stolen from wideboys by Petros T.
Petros T. got screwed over : /
check his channel he has the original project file.
Why 2 soundcards?
I thought you lived in ThunderBay???
@emixcube I actually mix with CD's.
They had one of these at a clud i DJ'd needless to say.. I was confused as shit when it was my turn..
why would you get a rane 68 one of the most expensive mixer out now... and use tractor for it... that got me mad.
backround song??
@joopjunior to be able to switch between 2 djs with 2 laptops
How to I turn it on
@DJNylen(Wideboys Club Remix)
Is this mixer really worth $3,000 U.S.??? I think it's way over-priced.
Honestly? Ean himself doesn't seem to be convinced by this controller...
yup
@flux302 you don't know him don't call him by his first name
where's my HD?!
I really want one of those...but I'm too poor T-T
i want a soundcloud T-shirt
all of the buttons are too tappy for me, they make a plasticy sort of sound. they should be like the traktor kontrol buttons.
hehe nice shirt :D
All the different colours make it look like a fisher price toy.
@unitedsimplydabest you probably can't even mix without your traktor
2600$ its expensive
Heavy handed.
This mixer is very expensive!
as a serato dj i wil never buy this.
for that price pioneer or allen and heath.
the effect section is not good..no auto BPM, the midi buttons aren't playable
So instead of wasting sh*t load of money on this buy a pioneer or an A&H with a SL4
