@Beejayize to be fair, no, I don't KNOW that that it's not treated for sure. But it looks clean cut, and treated normally has a greenish tint. If you're planning on putting it in ground level it's always best to give it additional preservation with bitumen or similar, which that DEFINITELY doesn't have😂

how not to add sleepers, you need gravel down, treat with bitumen, concrete them in
Nice job keeping untreated wood in contact with permanently damp soil on three sides.
Might last 2 or 3 winters
How do you know the wood was untreated?
