He did not know that he would burn too. I doubt it because of two things: 1. Henry burned down with Michael and the others. 2. Henry mentioned a backup evacuation plan for Michael. But the fact remains. Henry managed to fulfill the main goal: to destroy everything connected with the horrific events known to us.
