I have a similar brush and I love it. If you turn it vertically it will clump the 4c curls beautifully

@Maya H Not every 4c head can get defined curls, but I've seen it 🤷🏾♀️ Super tiny, tightly wound coils. It happens.
I think your hairs like that because you have a tighter curl pattern near your roots and looser towards the end. Love your videos by the way ❤️

I don’t think she applied enough product on the roots and the roots were not as wet as the rest.

I have a similar brush I got from Walmart. I have a tighter curl pattern than you, but I have found that if I turn the brush vertical, I can get to my roots and smooth them out. My hair won't lay flat unless it is saturated with product, but I can reduce some of the poofiness if I attach the roots from a different direction.

I saw a brush similar to this at Walmart yesterday and I said “oooo I wonder if Amber has a video on this” and LOOK AT GOD!
Angelcake1371 it was $8 so twice as much as this one that she used but it looks sturdier than the one she used to me. But I think I’m gonna try hers not the Walmart one.
I have an old one from Walmart. It works amazing in my daughter's hair that's similar in texture to Amber's. I don't like it in my hair but I have very thick 4c hair
@@TashaFierce01 I have 4c medium thickness. I love the Felicia Leatherwood brush, try hers, it's the original. Everyone else is trying to compete. Go directly to her site Amazon and ebay just has knockoffs.
I would def try this brush if you haven’t yet! I thought it wouldn’t be sturdy enough either and my curly hair is THICK af, but it is shockingly sturdy and works sooo well!

GIRL. Thank you for making this video! I have hair very similar to yours, and I ended up ordering this same brush after watching this. It really does work SO well for my curls! And I was so surprised at how easily it worked on my hair. I usually finger detangle on wash days because most brushes just yank my curls. I LOVE this brush!!

I would keep detailing your hair section by section but when you're done with 1 Section leave it out until you're done with your whole head and brush your hair from the front to the back dragging the brush along your scalp it'll help Define your roots some

I have this brush bought it on amazon and really love it. I start with it vertically and then horizontally and it detangles my hair. I was even able to detangle my hair dry which I could never do.
It's about what I shed after a week, just detangling. I still have to wash my hair after that and then even more comes out during and after. I detangle again after it comes out the towel with a Wet brush (dupe from Action, 1 euro no joke, it's called a "shower brush" there).

I literally just purchased this using your link. I hope it does better than my current wet/detangling brush. Mine snags my hair and my curls tend to get wrapped around the tip of the bristles and bring that there is a ball on the tips, my hair pops and breaks. I hate using it but it's all I have until this one arrives. I got the mint green though. Fingers crossed!! Thanks again for you review.

Thank you for uploading. My daughter is mixed with super curly hair. I however have straight hair and have no experience with curly hair. Her hair gets so tangled an brushing her hair is hard for the both of us. I'll try this and see if it will work.
After watching many videos it looks like long teeth and flexible rows are the recipe for taming natural hair. I also saw another Leatherwood dupe that looks the same but is blue that people were trying out called the Bestool brush. But I ultimately decided on the Tangle Buster.
