For spiders, my aunt had that problem but she solved it by buying lemon or orange car vent AC clips to make the whole car smell like a citrusy smell. Since spiders hate citrus they haven’t gone in at all. Or if you don’t want vent clips then just spray orange or lime febreze from time to time
Thank you for this I actually love citrus scents so this is a plus
Having the random ceiling spider visit while driving is like the unofficial Jeep Wrangler driver's rite of passage! 😂 I suggest having the interior detailed regularly or get a handheld vacuum to minimize spider-friendly hiding places. 👍🏼
The 🕷️ issue is so real. I had one crawling across the inside of the windshield one morning. Not something you want to deal with going down the highway, but coexistence was not an option.
I would install some LED lights over head and a under dash light under the dash
Great idea I’m definitely looking into that
The spider thing is because your fine and the spiders are men (Spiderman:) just checking you out maybe trying to mov in in some cases :) Welcome to JEEP and the challenges that will make you a MUCH better person!
lol this really made me smile! Thank you lol
Idk if anyones told you yet, but you have to condition your leather seats every few months to keep them from cracking. Its cause its drying out from the weather conditions.
Thank you so much for this information this is my first time ever hearing about seat conditioning but I will definitely look into it and get that poppin asap 💕
@@Hannibalmiles8494 thanks for your feedback 💕
Thank you so much for doing this video - i want a jeep so bad but never imagined/thought about the cracks and crevices being an entry point for spiders and insects. Where I live we have a lot of trees as well and I do not like spiders at ALL. borderline arachnophobic. Could you possibly do a video on your car cover and how easy or difficult it might be to put it on and off??
also, does these things make you regret buying your jeep like do you think you’d keep it over time or are you planning to look for a different vehicle?
These things do not make me regret buying my vehicle… I just wish I would’ve know these things before I purchased so I could have taken better precautions before hand. But the pros outweigh the cons with this vehicle.
@@AjaMariTV thanks so much for responding! I just subscribed and am watching your other videos - very informative. I’ve been wanting a jeep forever and I’m starting to prepare for the buying process. Definitely will do some research on the best precaution method for spiders. When you said it I was like “whew chileeeee not the Jeep attracting what i hate most” 🤣😭 Will also look into the car cover, i’m on the shorter side so not sure how practical it’s be for me but it’s worth considering!
I would buy it again though because it looks bad ass 😅
Good to hear a perspective other than all the off-roading videos on RUclips. One complaint though: show us the outside of your Jeep (at least a few seconds at the end)! Thanks for sharing!
Noted!
Thank you for the review girl I really want to know how comfortable the back seat is? I have 3 kids older no Car seats just what to know how they will fit.
Also I think Jeep wranglers use plastic because it’s meant mostly for off roading, trips, beach, mountain etc getaways. That’s why I think they use plastic. I think your car is gorgeous ❤
I had a Sahara jeep wrangler 4 door and I have two kids. One is two years old and his car seat barely fits in the back because the back seat is so narrow and small. I had my wrangler for six months and over time I just realized it’s not practical for me with kids and lifestyle. I didn’t plan on taking it off roading, the gas was insane, the ride is bumpy and over time it begin to hurt my body. Constantly hopping in and out of the big thing. So I got tired of it and got rid of it and got a Honda accord. It’s different for everyone, so it may work for you but you’ll know after having one for some time.
Just calling a Jeep ashy is beyond me lol but I feel you on the terminology. Thank you for your honesty ❤
lmao i swear my baby be getting ashy
Lol how are you drinking 2-3 drinks at a time 😂
I usually have a water and a coffee/tea/energy drink etc so if I also have a passenger with a drink of their own it makes it difficult
But Sis you know good and well all cars usually have only two cupholders in the front lol I have to do that in my car as well
I have the same jeep and I have the same complaint about the dash lights (the dimming for the screen/gauges). Either it’s blinding you or its so dim lol.
Girllllll Im with u with that light situation
Literally the worst!
I put 1 bomb in my jeep about 2x a year, it doesn't leave a smell and i no longer have spiders
Someone recently suggested I used any type of citrus car scent and it’s surprisingly working very well I also try to keep my car covered as much as I can
Sounds like you should have gotten a grand Cherokee
Absolutely not! Wrangler is where it’s at lol
@@AjaMariTV Cool. I love Jeep. I myself am looking to buy a Wrangler at the end of the year.
Those are details you see and look for before buying the vehicle!
No vehicle is 100% perfect
That's why you do something called "research." You can go on youtube and watch other people's reviews and opinions, even mechanics on youtube. I see them here all the time. You type in the vehicle name, and information is right there at your fingertips.
Thankfully with our high altitudes we don’t have to deal with the ashy plastic fenders and bumpers since they are painted. The creasing in the leather is not avoidable but I don’t like how my ass stretched the main seat of the driver seat lol. Totally agree with the water coming in and driving fast on the interstate its so windy and loud, like driving a big refrigerator 😆
Yeah you're right our jeep has that plastic and it's easy to scratch after a few years it starts looking like crap
What’s crazy is it’s already starting to scratch and it’s only been 3 years! I was thinking about using an old worn down soft sanding foam block and buffing it out in a little. Idk lol
Sigh . . . . this is the first I’ve heard of the spiders. I am a clinically diagnosed arachnophobe . . . . and I just bought a wrangler 6 days ago. 🙄🙄🙄
The best thing to do is get a Jeep car cover and try not to park under trees if you don’t have to.
Thank you. I might literally drive off the road if I saw one. I’ve seen a web underneath my steering column, but I haven’t seen any actual spiders yet.
You could use a blanket instead of a car cover
it's just another jeep thing....critters love go jeeping too ya know
Not this Jeep. They are not about to give me a heart attack every time I see one
Sounds like you just need to customize your car….
Soon I will
Clearly bought the wrong vehicle. 😂
Who me??? Never! Lol
Some people really should not get a Jeep
Do you have one?
Damn u cute
Thank you ♥️
