That's not how it works. It will be a currency based on gold so whichever country has gold reserves can mint it accordingly. If China has 10kgs of gold then it can mint the equivalent amount of the currency in terms of value. If india has 15kgs then it can print the currency equivalent to the value. Both countries dont get to control it. The point here is not to control but to dethrone the dollar which has been used time and time again by the US to weaponise and sanction other countries while in fact they declared not to do it when the swift network was created and countries were made to join. With Saudi Arabia pleading to join Brics and both China and Russia willing to let it happen, its only a matter of time that oil will be traded globally in Brics currency and the dollar will tank.

US manage inflation by manipulating dollars. When US lower its inflation forcefully value of other currency crashes as they all are judged with respect to US$. And that time if a country was experience low economic growth, it gets worse.
So if alternate currency is adopted, inflation in US will increase as it won't be able to keeps its nose above water on the expense of others.

Not exactly, Nearly every Countries government has a stache of Global currency/Foreign currency (Dollars), If it does get toppled/challenged on Global dominance and loses its worth, Then the Foreign cash would be less useful and the stockpiles or reserves would be less useful
Let me put like this... If you're dependent on usa, imf, world bank aids and didn't have strong bilateral aggrements with your neighbors. Then yes you might face some problems (because of those unfair sanctions) otherwise there are many kind nation in the world who are willing to support each other (in true sence without sanctions or resources aggrements) and already plucking fruit of bilateral currency swaps.

Its history repeating its self like when Regan took the dollar off of the gold standard. Everyone turned in most of their US Dollar for its worth in gold. So the there was way too much fiat money for too little gold. Thats why Oil now controls the value of the US Dollar. But if it gets tossed out for another currency then its worthless
