Yes i agree with you especially as an A level biology student this works so well with aqa. Most questions are so similar and the points in mark scheme are almost identical that if u understand the concept of the topic and just learn how the examiners want you to answer by esentially memorising mark schemes you will do well

@Ucademy, so im working at an 8 for science and maths, so in my scenario should i just watch a brief video that covers all the content then do questions after every topic for e.g. after i learn homeostasis and response i do a topic test on it. and for maths should i just do the topics im getting the least amount of marks from. Finally can you make a video on subjects where you have to know a lot of content for e.g. RE/History, since doing the rutta method will only work if there is less content but these subjects require you to know so much but barely ask you questions on them and also especially for history its really hard to find the 20% to get the grade you want. thanks for these videos

Yes, in an ideal world. But now is the time to cut your losses (assuming you are in year 11).
Maybe a few to test yourself, but much more important to have memorised all the patterns.

Hi, just a few questions I wanted to ask. What if something that hasn't come up from the 2018-2022 papers comes up in my exams? I wouldn't know how to answer it. You said not to revise content, but what if it is an application question like for biology. If I haven't understood the content, how would you get the marks for that. And if the questions won't be the same so how will learning the markscheme help. Thirdly, in terms of actually memorising the mark scheme. I tried your method of rote learning but it takes a very long time to learn things. I spent an 1 hour today trying to learn 3 pages from a revision guide. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a better way? Lastly, what do you mean by pattern recognition? I don't understand how you could do well without learning the content?
Sorry I've written so much, I'm so stressed and I don't know what to do.I hope you can help. I hope you can help.

Don't stress, if this method doesn't work for you it's alright. Everyone has a different way of learning effectively. What I did was google revision methods and spent 1 day testing which was the best for me. Then I employed the best working ones. Remember that if something that you are not sure about comes up on the test, the best thing to do is either guess or just write down everything you know about the question, and hope that you get a few marks. Trust me if you put the effort in now, you don't have to worry about anything, come results day. Because you know that you have grinded out the exams + remember that the exams are spread out across 2ish months, so don't worry, you have a bit more time than you think (don't procrastinate tho!)

@@ProfessorSlimezz What revision method worked for you? I don't know if I should learn the content first before doing past papers or do past papers now. Since I only have 1 week to go, I don't have enough time. It would take me 5 hours or something to learn 1 topic of biology, which means that I won't have time for my other subjects. I tried a past paper and I'm only on 40%, which is not where I want to be with 1 week to go.

@@FlyingChickens-mh7bg me personally, I am able to bang out 1 topic in science in arround 1 day (it's all about mindset, I guarantee you know more than u think). I did the entire of paper 2 bio in like 3 days, and went from 2 marks to 28 marks, which is pretty good considering it was 3 days and the paper is out of 70, but to answer the question I used Seneca learning to do that, it's free btw so u don't need to pay. All u gotta do is choose the right course, then pick which ever topic + begin revising. There is also cognito which is really similar but easier to use and focuses more on videos.
