Driven from Middle TN to Fort Walton Beach many times. I loved the drive most of all, Luverne, Brantley, Opp, Florala, Crestview, Niceville, loved driving thru those little towns. Each one was one step closer to sand between the toes.......on Okaloosa Isalnd
So close, and so great that Honey Stinger is helping with the slackpack. Total team effort to the end. Not to forget that Fresh Ground is coming back to help replenish yourselves at the end. Talk, about live and a total team effort. That's the way to do it.
We hiked that section on Sunday. We ran into a southbound gentleman who was on his third thru hike of the FT, BrushyBert. Very nice guy. Was the deer by the trail Saturday? Strange and sad. Congrats on your hike.

I’m not sure. We didn’t actually see any hogs, just their destruction. From what I’ve been told they bolt immediately when spotted.
