I am glad that Aki is actively trying to go out of her comfort zone I think this trend started when she joined the vcr ark, and i think she enjoys interacting with many different streamers. Even though some viewers think lowly of her general gaming skills, she just needs proper guidance to breakdown the game's mechanics and master them one at the time. Astel is a very keen observer, Aki tend to be overloaded with information, most obvious when she plays LOL, where her brain can't keep up with everything all at once, hence she often just either start doing random stuff or stand still. But when she ca slowly learm how to process these information into actions, she will definitely be a capable player. I am rootng for you, Aki!
That talk about coaches is especially good. Yeah, guidance is important, but ultimately, both coaches and players are their own people, and that's why players bothering to apply the guidance they got is as important as getting guidance.
Astel is really a good leader and good at IGL-ing but the downside is that whenever he thinks, his firepower goes down and vice versa. Kinda glad that he goes through the mindset/insight of an IGL and it does really enlighten us a bit more about teams/vsaikyo. One thing I've noticed is that he due to his points he's normally forced to be with two teammates that are of lower ranks and tries his best to be a teacher in this case. So excited for vsai.
I wouldn't mind a stream with Astel teaching Aki some apex. Astel-aniki is a pretty good teacher. It's hard though. I'm rooting for both of them. I want to root for Aki. But I also want to see Astel get into top 3 maybe.
i got his point about this topic....i mean this is Vsaikyo that a participant it's like in the team their's a mix ranked from PLAT and higher, not like ALGS that the player in the team all must rank Predator..... to be a leader u need to know how to play first and prepare a plan every minutes or second in a game...and this is only predator player can do this....I don't mean to belittle hers (aki), but i think the best choice is hand over hers command as a leader to the predator (give them do IGL in that team), but the title as a leader Aki stay with it, only the IGL hand over to the predator..... after all, im supporting Akirose tho....she's very good at adapting to the new game what she's playing....

Laplus did it last Vsai as well(she like Aki is also 3pt), but she teamed up with Chihiro and Sumi which are both 9pt Master rank, and they ended up with good placement at 6th. from the looks of it(just speculation) Dtto's going to be her teammate(based on the timeline of Dtto's tweet + Aki saying she found 1), that already is an IGL, and one of the strongest player in the scene as well If Aki is allowed to use a controller then she's going to be serviceable aim wise. Controller players may hate me for saying this, but controller is much easier to learn to get a serviceable aim. It took me half a month last year(starting from never touching a roller) to have serviceable aim, and do fine at swingout fights in Diamond.
Aki is like total newbie in apex and not in FPS games in general. So her team really need to teach her everything as possible, even micro moments. Otherwise it will be super hard to play as a team. Like when StartEnd played, Aqua and Towa done a lot of work to make Suisei synergizing with them to cover huge gap in skill. Even though Suisei is a fast learner, she said that she barely followed them.
I just think it's cool that Hal thought so much of Akirose that he invited her to form a team, even though she wasn't an experienced Apex player. I'm really looking forward to the training arc. VSai isn't just about pitting highly skilled players against each other, it's also about building the VTuber community and fanbase. Aki has definitely been a standout in the VTuber community as of late, with VCR GTA/Rust/Ark, CR cup SF6 tourney, etc etc. So if she decides to give it a go, I'll be rooting for her all the way

Nah their combined points are way too low (3+6+4). I can see Ebio in the same team as Aki plus a Pred-level player (some are predicting dtto.) but it’s better to have two Master-level teammates (10/11 + 9 since you can’t stack two 10 pointers together in one team) due to Aki’s low points and inexperience.

Aki knows nothing about apex, so she absolutely needs an IGL and to take a more backseat role-player role. Try to overreach that will only bring down her team. Being able to properly communicate and do your job as the third is super important, like Astel said, but more than anything it usually comes down to either having good raw aim despite lacking in other areas, or having very good intuition in one specific skillset and investing in that to get more value to your team than you’d normally get just developing normally. An example of this is something like Towa’s Gibby domes being at a higher level than a player of her skill range. This provides a lot more value for her teams than they might get out of if she was just more well rounded by putting her on Gib. As a new player it is literally just a given that you will fuck up, especially in customs. What matters is maximizing what little value you have as an individual (choosing an area of play to focus on, as well as improving fundamental things like aim and game sense), learning and playing towards your job as a role player (that could even be something like managing the teams atmosphere, or just minimizing your mistakes while you play), and learning how to properly communicate and move with your team (remembering to call things like how many healing items you have, asking for cover, or other more role and legend specific things like major cooldowns)
Astel really treats Akirose differently, lol. It feels like he always looks after her from afar. I doubt he would have the heart to bully her like he does with the other co-workers

rpr has offered to be a coach on twitter. he said he will never join because it will not be fair (and if you've seen him dominate in practice with no weapons you will know why). gorilla is an invited leader and Botan has a street fighter tournament at that time
Sadly VSai is strictly for vtubers only tournament so I don't think rpr can join the team Edit: i think what vsaikyou consider as vtubers are strictly only "virtual livers" meaning has never done face reveals i guess?????
Aki may have found a full team but no details. Hoping they're decent; finding teammates may have been hard as being on Aki's team involves a hard task: getting her to a functional state in a month. But it does seem that Hal may not have thought this through for various reasons, Aki being unable to take full advantage of her 3 point status being the least of it.
i think its quite contrary, Hal very respected aki since ARK, and then when he joins her in GTA, he really praise how Aki can be the best leader eventho she was the most unexperienced with GTA, and when she ask every member to drive alone with her in last minute of the server, he really think that Aki mindset is very good as leader. Thats why he probably think to make Aki more power up and had more confidence. I do also agree, Aki maybe not very experienced, but her calm demeanor, sometimes the pon she do when playing, it makes the tension feel more calm than usual. They would probably only let him have one gun with no nades to balance rpr because he still just as dangerous with nades. During practice matches last year rpr just had a p 2020 still leading in damage and still winning champions and finishing top 3

just have to say it, but i honestly wouldnt want to see aqua again in a vsai, not because i dont like her but because of the amount of idiots she brings with her community. i love everyone in vsai, but that one before with starend was insufferable, a lot of people were disrespectful of the other teams. its not aquas fault but it made me just not want to look at their team, even tho i was also excited to see them.
tbh that's going to happen whenever someone from Hololive joins one of these things when they usually don't. Pressure is going to be high and a lot of people don't like to see their oshi stressed out and/or confrontational.
That was her first (might be last) tourney and it very different than regular ranking so her agressive style are really not cut for this Towasama are veteran that experienced a lot of tourney but still not have much exp for IGL and have a handful putting a leash on Aqutan lol Suisei are fast learner but she very new to this game so dont expect much also they dont have coach to point thing out
The best chance is V-gorilla plus one 8-9pt from Vspo. Hinano or Qpi would be great. Alternatively, aqua and matsuri would be quite balanced as well, but more coaching is needed. In any case, I will be rooting for all 60 players.

aqua is the type who do field work become vanguard to attack and charge first so i think she cannot be IGL even if she agreed to join Aki's team. Aki probably become support or sensor legend, but if she goes out often im pretty sure she will get targeted first in a lobby filled with pred and masters. even botan who is cracked at fps game maining wattson when she still active play apex

rpr has offered to be a coach on twitter. he said he will never join because it will not be fair (and if you've seen him dominate in practice with no weapons you will know why). gorilla is an invited leader and Botan has a street fighter tournament at that time
Sadly VSai is strictly for vtubers only tournament so I don't think rpr can join the team

Aki may have found a full team but no details. Hoping they're decent; finding teammates may have been hard as being on Aki's team involves a hard task: getting her to a functional state in a month.
But it does seem that Hal may not have thought this through for various reasons, Aki being unable to take full advantage of her 3 point status being the least of it.
i think its quite contrary, Hal very respected aki since ARK, and then when he joins her in GTA, he really praise how Aki can be the best leader eventho she was the most unexperienced with GTA, and when she ask every member to drive alone with her in last minute of the server, he really think that Aki mindset is very good as leader. Thats why he probably think to make Aki more power up and had more confidence.
I do also agree, Aki maybe not very experienced, but her calm demeanor, sometimes the pon she do when playing, it makes the tension feel more calm than usual. Its her passives skill I think.

She maybe not able to keep up in the next few weeks but don't underestimate her hard work just look at her improvement in SF6, i know it's a completely different game and apex is way harder, but i will never deny her persistence when it comes to improving ❤

there's quite a bit of Masters in the scene(almost all the VSPO members that play Apex were Masters)
she could just go Pred + Masters in a team
yeah, i mean lets be real here, fps is not her strongest point, let alone the fast pace fps like apex, if its valorant it will be more easy to comms, and there is also 4 other teammate, so you can still somehow make it work, well just hopin she will have fun

Kamito has been playing Apex quite a bit recently even playing it solo, maybe he considers himself to be a Vtuber now to join the tournament also Aki said she has 1 member who agreed to join her recently as well
basically Aki got 1 teammate who agreed to join and also shibuhal saying he will send a rescue to her so probably Aki would have her team up already at this point
the question now is who is the 2 person joining and speculation wise its so difficult because there is only so many predator master tier vtuber that can join her to make it a good enough team
Kamito still refuses to be categorized as vtuber so I doubt he'll make an appearance in vsaikyo as anything but a coach
If it were him then there would be nothing to worry about. IGL aim even though he hasn't played for a long time his skills are still at a high level maybe even better in some parts

@Toki-jm2kb would it really be worth it though rpr will be extremely nerfed if he joined Vsaikyou. They would probably only let him have one gun with no nades to balance rpr because he still just as dangerous with nades. During practice matches last year rpr just had a p 2020 still leading in damage and still winning champions and finishing top 3
@@Toki-jm2kb I'm not 100% sure but he might be right. For other tourneys like CR it's probably okay. But IIRC, VSaikyo is strictly for VTubers, as the name suggests. RPR can be a coach probably, but not as a participating player.

just have to say it, but i honestly wouldnt want to see aqua again in a vsai, not because i dont like her but because of the amount of idiots she brings with her community. i love everyone in vsai, but that one before with starend was insufferable, a lot of people were disrespectful of the other teams. its not aquas fault but it made me just not want to look at their team, even tho i was also excited to see them.
tbh that's going to happen whenever someone from Hololive joins one of these things when they usually don't. Pressure is going to be high and a lot of people don't like to see their oshi stressed out and/or confrontational.
That was her first (might be last) tourney and it very different than regular ranking so her agressive style are really not cut for this
Towasama are veteran that experienced a lot of tourney but still not have much exp for IGL and have a handful putting a leash on Aqutan lol
Suisei are fast learner but she very new to this game so dont expect much
also they dont have coach to point thing out
The best chance is V-gorilla plus one 8-9pt from Vspo. Hinano or Qpi would be great.
Alternatively, aqua and matsuri would be quite balanced as well, but more coaching is needed.
In any case, I will be rooting for all 60 players.
