Create a base with ncerts class 6 to 12 history geography polity economics. Then go to standard books. Read hindu newspaper sports is not must avoid completely political news. Concentrate on hc sc verdicts, Govt schemes, etc. Standard books are: M lakshikanth : indian polity Shankar ias: environment, ecology Nithin singania: art and culture Spectrum: modern history R.S Sharma: Ancient history G.C Leong: Geography Ramesh singh: Economics Sci and tech: ncerts and current affairs are enough. Atlas: orient black swan or oxford student atlas Practice previous year question papers, Often search important govt sites once in a week like niti ayog, defence site etc. Read monthly current affairs compilation atleast once in a month: like visionias, insight ias. And then *Revise - revise - revise - keep revising* All the best
