Great instructions for blend door actuator replacement. Pulling the fuse to re-learn the new actuator was good advice.

Thanks, just did mine. Your video was the online one I found that had a repair on the drivers side. 🙏🏽

Great video great instructions. The fuse part is the most important because when replacing this actuator you can replace it but it doesn't know the positions of fully open and closed and in between so it's crucial that it's re calibrated with this technic, again great video thank you for the information. 🤘🏻

Hello my friend.. Please help me determine the reason why the air in all ventilation openings does not convert from cold to hot air... Type of car: Acadia 2008

When doing this does the ac need to be turned off

Do you know if this part fixes the feature of recirculating the cabin air or is it a different part?

Will this work for the driver side blowing hot air instead of cold also?

Which actuator would be the one to cause the vent modes to stay stuck on the same setting half on feet half through the dashboard vents

    • @briantrussell3368

It's leaving it in a setting where it only blinks and goes back off when trying to use the ac button. But you can adjust the strength and it'll change from hot to Luke warm. Just won't switch modes so it's not letting me turn the AC on

It's either a blend door or mode door actuator.

Question man I turned my heater on this morning it’s hot on driver side but freezing cold on passenger side ? Do yuno which actuator I need to replace ? Is it on my driver side or passenger side ?

The passenger side should be your culprit.

Was the actuator on your passenger side?

My AC blows cold on Drivers side NOT COLD on Passenger side. Would that be caused by this valve?

    • @MelvinZoopers

If you have separate driver/passenger controls then I would definitely look into the actuator.

Heres a tip, only put the 2 easiest screws back and itll be just fine. No need to overwork urself trying to get all 3 in.

Question : I have a 2011 GMC Acadia and my rear heat works fine but my front heat isn’t hot. (Still blows) would this fix my problem also?

    • @unclestuntman
      @unclestuntman Год назад

It's two on the passenger side. Replacing one of those will fix that issue.
