It’s so freeing isn’t it! I find it helps to let go of any perfection and just play with the color and shapes, pens, glitter, metallics, get crazy gf! :-) This has always been a good creative exercise when I just want to relax, and dont feel like painting a masterpiece. (Although look how beautiful when we are just enjoying, and I know your will be just as fabulous!)

Love this. When we got to the ink & pen part it made me think of Harriet deWintons book. You'd love it. I didn't glitter mine yet but I like it. This was very freeing. TY

It is a lot of fun to play with the colors so interesting becvause I remember this technique in High School decades ago, of course now it has this fancy name "reverse coloring"! Things always come and go I suppose. Have fun with it!

I know what you mean, sometimes it’s a challenge. I’ll have to try and do a video on that, a lot of people have asked! Ill create a short, what I have found is not too much water or it puddles and doesnt do a whole lot, just shiny damp, and sprinkle the salt on, not too much. I like the subtle look I get with table salt. The larger the sale granules the bigger the affects~ Ill create a short fo ryou friend. Its an awfully fun way to play!

This turned wonderful! The colors are perfect! An artist I follow does something similar but she also uses reverse stenciling.
