The episode I remember most is when Ryan took Ish to an optometrist because Ish had screwed up some colors. When they were there, Ish learns that he is color-blind.

Still though without a such hard-worker interior guy like Ish who not did just upholstery inside but also helping out with many other things even prepping cars for paint he was a strong one for example by comparison Big Dane even though was as well from the start in the crew he was more like a bodyguard instead of a hard-worker..

I had a Chrysler 300 and had an appointment to get a sound system installed. I paid $300 deposit to reserve the date and when the day came up I drove out there super excited with a buddy of mine. I was told I was "late" by 30 minutes which is bull since I was there at 11am and my appointment was at 12pm. I was at the front office filling out paperwork. I was told they wouldn't refund my deposit and when I tols them fine I'll take my car back they said they had already started working on it by removing the seats and dash. So I let them finish. I paid $900 and they cracked the trim around the stereo head unit and when I confronted them they said I filled out paperwork saying they weren't liable for any damages that happened to my car.

As with most car custom shows, the network made them have drama and forced short deadlines. Most have parted ways with the TV simply because it caused them to sacrifice quality. Anyone who restore or build cars know it's not a 1 - 4 week time frame.
It why Bitchin Rides is a successful car show and builder because it takes them over a year or more to complete a car.
I enjoyed watching some of their shows and picked up tips that they did in the construction of a custom car.

I rather liked WCC but hearing that Ryan mistreated, cheated and abused his employees, as well as crappy work on less prestigious people’s cars shows me that he has no code of ethics. It’s all about the Benjamin’s! Reprehensible dude, not cool! I’m glad to hear that Ish and Kenny are doing well, they were talented guys that deserve success. I’m unclear; does WCC still exist? Or was justice done and he was forced to close? He reminds me, after learning about how he overworked and underpaid and generally didn’t appreciate the people who did the work, of the leader of another show “Fast & Loud” Richard Rawlings. Another jerk who got rich in the backs of his talented employees. I no longer watch either show. I’m impressed with and watch two shows where this doesn’t happen: Counting Cars and Bitchin Rides. Danny and Dave always give props and credit to their teams, as it should be. Quality guys that turn out quality products. So he moved from Corona Ca. and is now somewhere in Los Angeles Ca. But it shows Ryan on the cover of the video working at a fast food place... Ryan has an arrogant look on his face like his SHIT don't stink and he has said on camera that they build the best cars on the planet as if they are the best shop out there when you have Chip Foose Counts Customs Dave Kindig of Bitchen Rides that do way better work and treat their employees better than Ryan does... There are lawsuits and horror stories of people taking their cars to West Coast Customs on their website if they are not taken down... You need to do your homework before going to any shop and not rely on what you see on TV... Ryan's shop closed in
Corona Ca. because of how he ran his business and got over his head and opened a business overseas that closed shortly after it opened... A business that failed badly... They try and make deadlines they can't meet. Also speaking of West Coast Customs saying they do the best work of anyone on their TV show when it starts Ryan says that they build the best Custom cars on the planet... Well if that is true I was at the Anaheim Auto Show and I saw a custom painted car they did that has a very elaborate paint job that had flaws in it where the paint job had ships in the paint that I saw right away and you mean to tell me your the best but you had a car with flaws in it and you let it leave your shop like that? That is
something you can't touch up or blend in... Ryan is all about the money... If Ryan is so good then why does that car have flaws in the paint? Stay away from Wst Coast Custom's they suck just like Unique Whips in Newyork who put things on your car you never asked for... They are now closed and they have a new shop but only cater to celebrities, not your average Joe and even they had issues too. There is nothing worse than SHIT work so do your homework. Those are just my thoughts......

Yeah...not quite what it seems. 15 employees claimed they were underpaid for overtime over a span of 6 years. The total was $148,761.54.
It wasn't Ryan scamming people but a formula used to calculate overtime by the payroll system that was not updated. It was 3% off.
When Ish discovered it he told everyone and they all charged in like a pack of wankers accusing Ryan of ripping them off. It got heated as Ryan didn't know wtf was going on and he ended up firing people as well as Ish & 2 others quitting. Police were called to the scene with no arrests made but 4 people escorted off site.
They sued him for 5 million but the judge found no fraud and only required WCC to pay the adjusted rate of overtime to each employee.
He lost but admitted he as the owner should be ensured all the systems and software and state laws were up to date.
They were photographed DURING the covid lock down at West Coast Customs having a beer together....hmmm.
odd for a guy who cheated you? Unless he didnt and it was a genuine mistake.
Stupid RUclips always full of it.
That said Ryan as a human is a bit of jerk lol.
