And it's like he realizes: "Oh shoot I have a dropship left over here, I better send that back and try something out" (it had been sitting there since 22:00 on the drop on Zerg main) Then watch the minimap -- it flys home, loads up, and decimates the Zerg 3rd. Absolute lol
Note: at around 13 minutes when Terran attacked Zerg 3rd base, you praised JYJ for attacking so well but at 14:00 when Zerg attacked the Terran's 3rd base, you commented "terrible, terrible"... No points guessing who you're rooting for 🙂
@@Ziegfried82 lurkers making here more concern - if it will be only lings, FB are fine in numbers equal 1vs 2 or even 1 vs 4 if they are grouped up properly and with active stim and medics behind, but in 99% of cases here 1-2+ lurkers inside darkswarm too, and they dealing with FB super fast just in seconds, usually even before FB attacking even once (you can see that many times when T try to mass firebats, and they just vaporized by 2-3 lurkers, like 10-15 FB in 2-3 seconds without any value)
FBs aren't very useful against zerg because of the reasoned already said... Given equal skill at these pro levels, terran only beats zerg by being defensive with siege tanks, protecting science vessels and slowly wearing the zerg down with irradiate while denying zerg expansions. Very difficult to do.
Why don’t any Terran players block with a supply depot by chance? Is it costly? Like a bunker and tanks behind two supply depots takes a good amount to break and then it’s just drops and moving out from there
Maybe worried about blockSCVs coming in -- but maybe could use an ebay to make a liftable wall. Feel like that would work great against ultra run-ins (lings you can deal with easy with the firebats/marines in the bunkers)
This is the first time I've seen the stupid tactic of "send 2 battlecruiser with zero support" actually work..and he partially botched it by attack moving and hitting lings in a dark swarm for over 1 minute. Scourge are gas intensive, so forcing a zerg to blow 5+ scourge per battlecruiser really hurts but it would hurt even more with a dropship with marines and vessel mixed in. D matrix would screw up the zerg players calculus making them need another 2 scourge to kill a BC, and the marines could possibly pick off a few scourge too. Maybe the beauty of this move is the set and forget while you micro the rest cause I really can't justify the move otherwise.
In this case I prefer Larva playstyle making many Sunken Colonys on the expand in order to protect the expand If Soma had done more Sunken Colony he wouldn't have lost his expand and lost the game at that very moment.

terran has always been extremely OP race, terrans these days are completely crazy thinking its weak lol... The only advantage zerg has is potential to all in, but if both forced to play standard Terran has a huge advantage... almost just straight up unfair.
@@wizardsynth2797 I think among all these, zerg is the weakest one. Because of the early and mid games, they are very weak. Zerg somehow has to survive half an hour to be really strong. Protoss gets very strong vs Zerg once HT is out. Terran is dominating between 10-30 mins. If you are playing Zerg, try to survive while expending crazy for 30 mins, then u have a chance to compete. That's why I like the way Larva plays the zerg.
@@astrocaglar Zerg is strong at various points but lately those points have been easily shut down by the 2 other races. Valkyries and greedy terran builds shut down the muta timings, Protoss greed is very hard to punish and shuts down pressure from zerg, on top of all that Zerg late game is extremely hard to manage and play, while also not being strong end game. Its just easier and more OP to play the other 2 races.

Question are firebats stronger inside the darkstorm than lings
Not unless they have better upgrades and medics behind them. If the lings are 3 attack upgrade with adrenal firebats die too fast to be effective.

Hard to fly around drop ships with scourge flying around everywhere, but also hard to have enough scourge to deal with all of Terran's air threats :'(

I dont get why zerg players dont send irradiated ultras to attack. They can deal so much damage to marines.
