Dynamics 365 is both an SMB (Business Central) and Enterprise solutions (Supply Chain + Finance) and is two complete platforms and not a mix of different best of breed solutions with an weak iPaaS solutions. ;) Dynamics 365 Supply Chain which has a broader ERP system and is a full blown supply chain solution with even built in Warehouse management. It has complex warehouse functionality like waving, dock management, worker planning, mobile devices, transport planning, advanced picking, distributed warehouse processes and so on. Built into this is also order management and planning. Also a "live" master planning solution (In-memory multi tenant) that does complete end to end planning in seconds. Dynamics 365 Business Central is a product comparable to Netsuite on supply chain complexity.
This list seems to be from a point of view of manufacturing firms. Will the list be the same for Logistics Service Providers like a 3PL, courier companies etc.? Is my understanding correct?
This video should be titled “Top 10 SCM that Eric happens to know”. What about Kinaxis, E2Open, O9, Relex, IBP, OMP, and several others that consistently rank above. 9 out of 10 companies in this list doesn’t belong in the top 10.
