I have done this and all was successful until the last stage where you download Whatsapp for the final time. It didn't ask me to restore but asked about restoring from google. I tried saying yes and it said there was no back up. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and said skip and neither option gave me the restore option but just ended in showing the inbox with nothing restored. Please can you help?

Same here. I wondered if you should just log into the older version confirm the chat/media is there then simply update the app rather than uninstall and then install newest version? @Tekify any suggestions?
I managed it by undoing everything and then doing it again and it seemed to work fine the second time.

After all day's effort i was successfull in downloading backup from Iphone and transferring it to my Realme 6 PRO. It took whole day to get there.. but now after selecting the initial options and clicking on google account it didn't worked .. Please help
Done!!! But i have a question, how can i delete photos from my gallery whithout deleting them from WhatsApp, bc if i delete it it does'nt appear in whatsapp :( just cause there are lots of photos that i don't want. Thnxx!

Hi, I went through the whole process two days ago and when i installed the new version, it didnt had the old chats. So I had to reinstall the old whatapp and redo the process. Now i have down loaded the old Whatsapp and have restored the old messages/chat, but its not allowing me to back up and its not allowing me to send chat. I am afraid if i install the old version of whatsapp I might lose all the old chat again, please guide on what to do?

Hi, I have been following your steps. When I open Android File Transfer, it does not have a ‘download’ folder. Is there another folder I can drag the files into for this to work?
Hi! Yes, you can import the files to any folder, than select the right folder using the WazzapMigrator app before click on the “Play” button :)

Hello, I have a huge media folder (35gb). After having several issues moving so many files I went with the 2nd method; I did the zip file and copied into the downloads folder. It was copied much faster than the first method. Then the zip extraction took a lot of time and the app went to black like it was not responding. Meantime I was checking with "my files" that folders and and storage were increasing so I left it and waited. When it finished, the app was not responding so I had to restart the phone (Samsung S10). I could start the app back, and after some steps it got freeze in the migration process during "converting messages", more than 3hs had passed, should I wait or? Please advise. Grazie

I've tried multiple times to copy the files (30.000) onto the download folder but after a few files have been copied an error pops up. When copying it also goes very slow and gives an estimation time of 24+ hours while my mac isn't that slow on itself. Any idea how I could solve this?
From the developer site, I had the problem, a huge media folder (35gb).
"The easiest and fastest way to transfer the extracted iPhone Media folder is by using USB cable: it's enough to connect the phone to your PC/Mac and you should able to copy over the whole folder.
Anyway, it's possible your PC/Mac has issues moving a lot of small files (like images).
In order to fix this: please create a single archive Media.zip archive containing the whole Media folder, then transfer it to the Android phone in the Download folder. WazzapMigrator will detect and extract the Media.zip. Please note: such Media.zip can be created automatically from WazzapMigrator Extractor itself."
First I tried to zip it with the app but crashed at 22gb, so I did it manually.
When I download the older version the phone wants to upgrade to last version, and i cant restore
There is an error message that they cant restore any chat backup...
I done all passage correctly until minute 7.00, but when i download the official whatsapp version the message for restore doesnt pop up. Any suggestion?

At 6:48 that uninstall message asked me if I want to keep that data, I didn’t choose to keep, everything was fine , just FYI in case anyone comes across same thing
I uninstalled & tried to re install the updated version of whatsapp through the playstore but it said unable to install as user has downloaded an incompatible version of this on the phone. any ideas how to download the new whatsapp

After the process of transferring the chats to Android's WhatsApp there are chats appearing I never did and showing me just one space or phrases like "123456789@s.whatsapp.net".
