    Please I need a professional advice, my question is nor related to the topic but on speech, I have a non verbal autistic child, he would be four in August, we speak English at home teachers speaks German to him at kindergarten, I am particularly worried about the danger of the multiple language environment for him, please what is your advice on this?

      Hello, thank you for reaching out! As speech is not a fully emerged skill yet for your child, we do recommend the use of 1 language as much as possible to avoid confusion and increase his receptive understanding which will be vital for the learning of functional communication.
      Would there be a possibility for a discussion with his school teachers to communicate with him in English perhaps? We would also encourage the use of visuals when communicating to him.
