Chris smoove probably doesn’t play my career anymore bc the vast amount of unskippable cut scenes that are just advertisements that he doesn’t get money on. The cutscenes are also very corny and just unentertaining. Also the archetypes may have also ruined it for him because now he can’t do flashy dunks and be able to shoot the 3 as you could in previous 2ks which made it fun

Been following Smoove for a while, even go back and watch old vids. Only speaking from my own perspective, Id say its a combination of things; Having done it for so long, becoming more disinterested as the quality of game goes down, dealing with cheesers and cheaters online, etc. Smooth gives his honest opinion/criticism about ALL the games he plays, he doesnt even upload lets plays as much as he used to.....and he's skillwise and entertainment wise, my hands down fav youtube commentator. If youve followed or even go back and watch through his vids, you can def see the diff between his vids now vs older ones...he doesnt even upload 2k online anymore
Fortnite developers listen to their community and has constant updates to better the game unlike 2k. 2k is just a money hungry company who doesn’t care about the content the create, no not even create they just reuse old content in previous 2k and drop updates that just make the game worse. 2k has been trash for as long as I can remember except for a couple that was decent but they need to do a throwback mashup on the next one and bring back all of the old game modes.

It's not just Chris' channel. Every 2k youtube person just about has been uploading less since not long after 2k 18's release. They still do, but it's a lot less frequent or some have nearly stopped completely.
The only reason he hasn't come out and completely exposed 2K18 is because it goes against his RUclips personality.
It probably isn't worth tainting his channel with controversy to improve a game that isn't the biggest.
Only new 2k players(the ppl who started playing 2k with 2k9,2k11,) are shocked by this..this has been going with 2k since 2k4 aka ESPN basketball..2k used to be a basketball sim..but the new comers to the game complained about it was to hard to shoot, dribble(because it was a REAL simulation) etc etc and from there 2k proceeds to dumb down the game for the bums who couldn't play cause they was to use to that arcade game called NBA live..now we have the bullshit game we have today...and ppl wanna know why..the game is shit because to many bums started to play,couldn't score, they bitched to the point 2k no longer made it a SIM..now we have this sim/arcade hybrid that's broken damn near every yr..so thank you to the bums who bitched and cried about the game being to hard to play..your the down fall of 2k basketball..
4 some reason, i am not logged in to 2k severs, and 2k i so boring. The most of the time I play MyLeauge, which is so boring. If they could only be like EA.
One of the first RUclips videos I've ever saved, was of Chris smoove exposing 2k9 cpu for cheating on offense. He said they don't play SIM basketball and the cpu character movements cannot be replicated by the user. The cpu double dribbles and travels to win on offense. He showed 3 or 4 replays illustrating irregular player movements, double dribbling, and traveling.
2k Mycareer AI is so terrible! How can a game, based on a team concept sport, have such terrible teammates? How did 2K think this would be enjoyable? Easy fix with a patch, but no 2K doesn't want happy customers.
My player got deleted in 2K18. I had like 30 hours with my build. They gave me 750K VC which I lucked out with because I like to make smaller players.

Every game that has been released on the next gen has been unfinished products.
Every since updates were released in gaming developers give us 80% complete games and slowly feed us the 20% through updates or DLCs. We complain about sports game more because we are forced to buy them anually. But it does give us a issue when they just copy and paste the foundation of the games into the next years format
Mostly 2k just adds a few animations graphic patches and mayne a new storyline.
The gaming communtiy know this may only take a few months if their team is really being productive.
The real question we have is .
So where is all of our money going to?
What are people's expectations for these games? There were issues with 2k18 but it seems like people just hate for the sake of hating. I still play College Hoops 2K8 and have played 2K basketball since 2K3. Sure the games are perfect but they aren't the worst, far from it. It seems apparent that the devs and company have been tuning out negativity as "oh those are just the 2K haters that hate no matter what". The criticism seems frankly incoherent a lot of the time because as much as people act as if there is a consensus on certain gameplay things, there isn't.
Obviously everyone is opposed to the sheer greed put on display with micro-transactions.
Just based on that title alone, I'm not watching. Bro if all you're gonna do is go in on Chris Smoove then I don't think I can ever watch your stuff. I'm not watching this shit but I just need you to know that insulting Chris Smoove isn't cool. He's the Tupac of 2k, he's the OG and if you wanna disrespect him then just get out of the community
