Hey Helen good question; they do come up but they're often focused on DE specific tasks. For instance you might be asked to write an algo that sorts through a structured dataset in a particular way; or to read a file and manipulate a string towards a certain goal (identify repeat characters, palindromes, counts/sums etc) etc. I'd say most questions are "easy", very few "medium", extremely rare to get "hard" (frankly never heard of someone getting a LC-hard in a phone round) Hope this helps? - Udit

Because it's been about 9 to 10 months for me working as a Associate Data engineer, so wanted to know what should a guy like me focus on while applying for data engineer role in big tech companies.
