That's actually really cool, never really thought about changing out the power supply for a system. Wonder how far this can go down the console line. 🤔
    Great video really informative

Does it work with a Power Bank? I have some poratble, battery powered Mini-CRT‘s and would like to play a MS2 in the wild.

Getting ready to fit this. My Master System 2 has an RGB mod installed with the 5v wire attached to the output (O) Pin of the regulator. Is it ok to leave this there as I will be bridging the regulator as per the usb-c power install? I'm assuming it's ok as the console is only being fed 5 volts from the usb-c mod board.

Could you guys make a usb-c mod for gameboy micro and the Nintendo DS consoles? The power jacks always end up damaged on these.

Whats next?! NES and SNES would be good as they have really weird barrel jacks. Will you sell a bundle kit once you have a set of them for most common consoles?

I appreciate the idea for modern power supplies for retro consoles. But there is one system that absolutely needs a modern solution. It is the original Xbox. The original psu's are prone to fail, and the specs are very odd with the 5V rail, so they are very difficult to replace. The ATX adapter solution is spotty at best, and replacement universal power supplies aren't available any more. There are a lot of not working og Xbox systems in the wild because of the psu's. I have a 1.4 and was able to repair it. There was a broken variable resistor. But i have a 1.2 too shutting off or not turning on at all because of the psu. It works flawless with my universal replacement, and i am not able to find a problem at all on the original psu board. So please, you have the skills to do it🙇

Definitely on my list to make. Will perhaps do it after SNES one as had a few requests for it

Brasil never got this version of the master system, you must be referring to Master System 3 compact, with internal power supply, if thats the case, this may be used but it wont be as simple as this version mod.

Getting rid of any external heavy brick and its hard to find connector (while they are part of the system's history) is a great idea.
