Brilliant idea to use the “blob” of spare clay to pick up the debris around the micro rim !! Hats off to you MissPenny !! Really can learn something new everyday !! Thank you 😉
Thank you so much. I unfortunately had to close my business a couple years ago due to Covid so I am back to work full time and I don’t really have much time to do fun things. Have a blessed day!
Thank you Penny for an awesome tutorial with lots of tips. I can't wait to try this as it is just lovely. I so love IOD Stamps and Moulds. They are the best ever!!!
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, you allow the cream colored chalk paint to dry completely before you add the brown. I think it’s at about 26:40 in the video.
@@Purpurschnecke yes, I’m sorry I misunderstood your question. I did on this one. I used a clear water-based varnish (thin coat) to seal the ivory chalk paint before I added the brown because sometimes the base paint will start coming off when you add the watered down brown chalk paint. And you do have to let each coat dry (the ivory and varnish) before moving on to the next step. I hope that helps.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I gotta try this!!!
Thank you. I hope you do try it!!!

What kind of paint do you use acrylic or chalk?
I used chalk paint but either will work. Thanks for watching 😊
Coming late to the party - what size is the board please?
Hello. I used an 8x10 inch but you can use whatever you have close to that. Thanks for watching.
Maybe I missed it, but do you let the varnish dry completely before adding the brown paint?

@@PennyWhitlock-Scentsy ...you varnished it in between the two colours, right?
