DIY IOD Farmhouse Style, Barnwood "gather" sign using IOD Transfers and IOD Stamps!

- Starting with plywood, we use our IOD Winter's Song Paintable Decor Transfer as a base to create this "plank" Gather sign using IOD Barnwood Planks Decor Stamp and IOD Typesetting Decor Stamp. You can do this!

I just found a distributer who had this transfer, I ordered it and am so excited. I have all the other supplies to do this. For tne base I already have white birch plywood and can cut to size. Thankyou ladies for the great project.😃

I would get some faber castel pitt artist india ink pens and draw in some of the flowers and leaves near the gather not a fan of the white out on the ends where the G and R are located
its beautiful ladies! WOd you seal with a spray sealer - especially if you painted it?
Thank you! You cpuld seal with a lot of different sealers- your iod stockist will have favie sealers foe the paint lines they carry- mostly brush on :), water based

Not related question: I am redoing a of waterfall dresser into a luggage drawer look. Have you ever thought of creating vintage suitcase hardware molds for a project like that? I haven’t purchased one of your molds yet but I see one in my near future.

I love this project so much. QUESTION: is the decor ink dye based or pigment? What is the difference from a regular pad???
Hi there, our dyes are pigment rich, Archival, acid free, and fade resistant. Waterproof and permanent on recommended surfaces, when dry. Dry time depends on surface and conditions. There are many good ink pads but we like to think ours are better. LOL 🤣😍

It totally depends on what you love! Sal would probably leave as is and i would probably go with color LOL❤️

Can you explain about doing a wider plank? You said something about cutting the stamp?
sure! If you want to do a larger plank, you could actually just cut near one side, and so that you can spread them further apart, and mount on a larger sheet (like the thin mount we used to create the word "gather".
What we mean is that these barnwood plank stamps come where each plan is already a separate stamp on the sheet, cut the planks apart right on the sheet, so you're cutting the sheet as well and use them just like that. As far as the wide plank, what we mean is to create a wider plank you can simply stamp the second edge of the plank where you want it to be to create a wider plank :)
