You are right. The thing around the neck, glasses, bandana are rough. I wish they’d put the small dents or holes on his temples like they did the recent Shawn Michaels legends elite. But it’s nice
The original version came out a little before I got back into figure collecting two years ago, after 18 years of being out of the figure collecting scene. I mean, it doesn’t matter what you think of the Hulkster, he is the most iconic wrestler of all time. Every collector needs a prime red and yellow Hogan. In addition, every collector needs an nWo Hogan. This UE with the updated hot dog tan is the best representation of that version of Hogan. We got other Hollywood Hogan figures, including the Hogan 3 pack which all versions were tanned. However this version is the definitive Hollywood Hogan figure.
I get it, I really hate the banana and sunglasses being off and it’s a battle to get everything somewhat aligned. For ages, I too felt that the sunglasses and bandana should be molded as one piece. How many people are displaying Hollywood with his bandana but without the sunglasses or the sunglasses but without the bandana?

To me honestly this series Hogan (NWO) and Fiend w/ custom Fiend championship saved the Ultimate edition line…. Yes looking at that in today eyes may sound insane but at the time not positive but I believe this may have been the first Mattel figure released after Hogan resigned with WWE . I was anticipating this figure for absolutely forever ( the original one) as it was a version of Hogan I loved but never represented with a good Mattel figure . I understand people may view it differently but series one ultimate edition Warrior and Rousey were phenomenal, I know it was a new line and a pricey one but I think people justified it with the absolutely amazing Duster on the Warrior and how amazing that figure originally was, it definitely sold well as did Rousey , but after those 2 the first Brett was kinda peg warmer and the Becky definitely was a huge shelf warmer. Triple H sold okay but the Nakamoura was definitely a retail failure , I really enjoyed the series 5 I believe Cena an Warrior , Triple H and Brett was the only ones I purchased and it looked like the shelf’s were warmed with Becky and Nakamoura, as the series 4 Brock and HBK were never really on the shelf’s as well as series 5 I got my Brock HBK and Cena from Ringside, then you had the Amazon exclusive and ringside exclusive fiasco of people ordering the rock and getting charlotte and vise versa. I really thought the line may shut down but all the Sudden Hogan was back not only back but NWO IN ULTIMATE EDITION STYLE AS WELL AS ONE OF THE COOLEST MODERN DAY WRESTLERS WITH A INSANE CUSTOM TITLE , I BELIEVE IF THAT SET WOULD HAVE STRUGGLED AT RETAIL WE MAY HAVE SEEN THE END OF THE LINE BUT HOGAN FANS SHOWED OUT AND NOW IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY ULTIMATE IS A MUST HAVE
Personally, I dont feel a need to pick this one up. If I hadn't found the original out in the wild a month ago, I was still gonna get the re-release. However, I 100% missed the Ultimate Charlotte flair, so I will be picking her re-release up.
Does new ultimate edition have extensive hip joint??

🔥💥 Hogan was one of my favorites when I was younger. As a kid I thought What's up with Hulk Hogan's hair? It's blonde but yet silkin like that of a Chinese man & he has the skin of a hotdog 🌭

I hate the skin tone. You can only use him for hulk. The last one I used the body with the Disciple head.

I dnt know about the tan. It's like more brown than tan. I might have to watch hogan at that time, but he is not Mexican so dnt get why so brown haha. That being said I will probably pick it up.
Hogan's father was Italian and his mother was Panamanian, French and German so his dark skin is natural and enhanced with a lot of hours in the tanning bed.
