  • This video explain the basics of inductance and Inductors. An Inductor is a passive electrical component consisting of a coil of wire which is designed to take advantage of the relationship between magentism and electricity as a result of an electric current passing through the coil
In this video, we'll be discussing what inductance is, and how it can be used in physics and engineering. We'll also be looking at mutual inductance, self inductance, and inductors, and what they are used for.
If you're looking to understand inductance and inductors better, then this is the video for you! By the end of this video, you'll have a better understanding of what inductance is, and how it can be used in physics and engineering. Let's get started!

When the inductor circuit is switched OFF, will the current be in the same direction from the instant of opening??
    GREAT VIDEO!
    THANKS MUCH!

Are there books that provide easy explanations as do your videos; am having trouble finding anything that doesn't become overly complicated. Also am on a budget. Are there more videos I can follow; I get confused which ones to find that offers explanations in simpler terms. RUclips has lots of videos but its extremely frustrating for those of us that want to learn without becoming overwhelmed.

This video should have been longer and that formula should have been used as well..
