[DISCLAIMER] first of all i just want to clarify some things. I'm totally fine and doing okay. i like to write stories and read them as a part of the channel but i can't do it all the time. this was a project I've been working on for a while... about 2 years or so. i like to write poems about different moments of my/other people's lives. i wrote a lot more... but i chose these 4 for now. so i think i have to do some explanation with the 4 poems over here. 1-the first poem "The Loop" is about the experience with the daily life of a writer who wants to change his life, surrounded by friends whom are free. its a cycle that the writer is not satisfied with. hoping for a day, where he can do whatever he wants with the liberties, but it never comes. 2- the second poem "stateless "is about a writer who is pushed away by the society that he was trying to help, to liberate. but he cant fight alone, to his mind he can make the lives of other people better, but his hard work is going nowhere. he is getting betrayed by... the way people are judging him and talk to him. while the people looking at him as a freak, a crazy person, to the other side of the world he is considered as a normal human being... he cant get out of his society because he has no power. so he goes in to his room and sits there for hours talking to a society outside, with a different language. he isolates himself in his room, so much so that he is slowly forgetting his first language. if he leaves his country he is going from the hell that belongs to him, to a heaven that he does not belong. 3- the Third poem "war" is a prologue to the next poem. its about the writer stepping outside the silent warzone that saw people falling for the propaganda of the states with his eyes. he is questioning humanity... he lost his loved ones... and once he is speaking up against it. people are pushing him back, jailing him for speaking the truth, for humanity. the writer is talking about his ideas and why he thinks that war brings nothing but destruction. but then he realizes that he is not the problem, he is the right man for the wrong people. 4- the fourth poem "for her" is about the writer mourning the loss of the love of his life during the war. and he couldn't do anything about. the only person he could talk to, who he loved dearly, who he wish he could fight for... but it was too late. he is holding his idea that war is still a weapon to make man mad. but with her dying. he was questioning his beliefs, this is what war does to someone... anger cannot keep man sane, specially with the loss of what he cares about. he cant replace her, he believes that he will never be able to find another one like her again, he is scarred for life. he thinks of going to war and dying for her but... its too late. the ship of fate goes forward and we either stay on it... or drown in the ocean and be forgotten... like billions of others before us. its a bitter bitch story i have to say...
Honestly this is pretty good I love these type of stuff that puts on a different perspective of how pple on the other side are dealing with. Like how movies mostly shows how the hero finally gets what they wanted but not showing the aftermath of what they lost on previous battles. Or how hard it is to get up and make it seem easy for the sake of moving on. Its hard to keep moving on while losing stuff that mattered to u. Its hard to accept the changes while u still trying to recover from the stuff u know u can never ever get back from. Its hard accepting new faces and still missing the old ones. Its hard to put on a mask and play pretend that everything is okay. Its hard to keep yrself sane while still trying to fix yrself. Its hard to let them go knowing that u can't get to see them again. These type of stuff wierdly shows how there's always a chance to get up on yr feet and keep on moving even if it sure aint easy. Thank u bob for sharing (: 👍
Wasn't expecting this sort of upload, but this is... genuinely profound stuff. Best of wishes and stay safe my man, I hope you too find your freedom someday.
We love you, Bob. You’re a fantastic creator and your passion is beautiful. I’m almost done with my video that will debut my RUclips channel, and I just finished recording the part shouting out your amazing storytelling and our shared love of Helis in our favorite game. Your poetry is beautiful.
even though I'm Polish (so on the other side of the conflict) I still see that we are just humans, its the governments that divide us, we all feel the same things and just want the shit stuff to end.
I'm 15, never had a girlfriend, but I tell others I already have a relation ship, abusive I tell them, I never tell them what brings me this pain, but sooner or later they will understand, I wish I could quit warthunder.
These are actually pretty sad and beautiful you need some help man? Also could i know if you're russian or ukrainian so i could understand them more. Lets just hope the war ends soon.
@@death_is_here thanks my friend… unfortunately I live in Iran, however, I had someone whom I loved dearly, lost her life there. I hope so too… this war is going over nothing.
@@Bob_Dickinsondamn thats even worse people usually dont talk abt middle east how long its been like 40 years or smth that means you were born during the war if I think abt that i think i should be more grateful for being born in Poland. Stay strong out there and lets just hope you wont suddenly stop uploading bc after this vid everyone would probably understand what happened.
@@Bob_Dickinsonalso sorry I just realized which account i've been using probably not the best occasion to use it on just in case sorry if it made you uncomfortable
