    When pressuring DI tanks, do it slowly. You can float the bed and lose more resin.

    Hello there, sir, get yourself and in flow water meter that you put on a quick connect from your input garden hose in between where you added to the DI input. They’re about $26 on Amazon and once you calibrate it you can see how many gallons, you’re actually putting through that DI tank before the resin wears out. What I found is many of the claims by these DI tank manufacturers, most of who are copying each other, are grossly exaggerated while I’ve also found one that is under representing it’s effectiveness. The good thing about these meters they can be reset, once you track consumption

    Hi, any way you could link the quick connects you used? I have the same setup but can't seem to find the right quick connects. Thanks!

    Why did you turn the in-take valve to the “off” position prior to beginning the final spot-free rinse? Is the resin not able deionize the water fast enough if allowed to free flow?

    • @WillsGarageOfficial
      @WillsGarageOfficial  4 месяца назад +1

      It can deionize the water fast enough but would be a waste of resin. It's in "off" position to save the resin and only "on" for the final rinse.

    Idk, looks like lot of effort and added cost. Rather use a wall mounted pressure washer to clean and rinse, then chamois off the flat surfaces and leaf blow dry.

  • @TheWarewolf79
    @TheWarewolf79 Год назад +1

    You could've just ceramic-coated the car, and used leaf blower to dry it afer a regular wash in no time...this would be much quicker and definitely cheaper than going through this whole deionizer thing. Cheers.

      Good point! Ceramic coated or not though, after this initial set up it will be as easy as rinse and go.

      You can also go number 2 and not wipe your butt if you want to save time and money. Sometimes saving time and money isn't always the best option.
