Thanks for the information, i wanted to ask if Laura and Louisa need to win 2-0 to spain to advance, or it also depends in how many sets France losses?
Considering that Placette and Richard handled Ludwig and Lippmann easily, but were in turn dominated by Álvarez and Moreno, the real question should be whether LL/LL can get as much as a set off "Spain".
Perhaps we ought to stop calling wins by Esmée and Zoé "upsets". Maybe the fact that they went 2-0 simply shows that they are the best team in their pool. They haven't stepped up their game. They just continue playing it.
They're certainly approaching that territory. Win over Tina-Anastasija probably not an upset, but I'd still consider the one over Mel-Brandie an upset, but there's an argument to be made that it's not. Fun team to watch for sure, and delightful people
@@SANDCASTPodcast Brandie and Melissa are losing to Anastasija and Tina as we speak (currently 14-21, 7-7). I'm entirely with you regarding their potential. When they first teamed up, I was excited and expected the best team in the world, but they have not yet come close to being that, and they certainly are not on top in Paris.
Kyle I haven’t commented this anywhere but you crushed commentating in Gstaad and Vienna. You had a few calls/lines that were pretty epic.
Only more of those to come from The Amigo!
Thank you so much!!
I just love Kyle on here
He'll be on here a lot more, and on the world tour with me as well!
I am looking to watch some games with Switzerland playing on youtube and cant find any, how is that?
They'll be on VBTV for regular season tournaments or Peacock for Olympics

That one can get tricky. A 2-0 win is virtually a must for them. A three-set win I don't think will do it

So what happened with Lithuania?! Is it the deep sand too?
Goodness....thought someone got hurt after looking at the scores and nope, Japan just flattened them
@@SANDCASTPodcast just tough to see them not really show up the whole tourney it seemed.
@@danacr6893 Super bummer, love that defender too
They were bitching at each other the whole time, especially Monika at her partner... Watch the match ball if you can - total team collapse 🤷♂️
Am I understanding the brackets correctly that Sweden didn’t make it?!
haha Sweden is in the round of 16, playing Cuba
@@SANDCASTPodcast whew🤦🏼♂️😅
@@JM3-675 haha and just such a shit draw for Cuba. Goes 3-0 in pool....draws the best team in the world
Off topic:
Did Tim and Kyle break up or just break up?
haha I have just stolen Kyle for commentating purposes on the Beach Pro Tour. So, still together, but Kyle's stepping back as a player
Exactly what he said ^^^ 😊
Hey buddy I have a question for you about your podcast 😅
What's up
@@SANDCASTPodcast could you please pull your feet 🦶🏼 up on your table
I never will get the Kool dude hand gestures
A big yes to an NCAA "duel" format event. Let country pairs work together, not against each other.
Would be so awesome
Come to find out it was the wife that leaves for work and the man was coming to see the husband 😮
